I was contacted by the conservation dept. about this, they couldn't find any residual pollutant at all. I manage a large ag consulting firm and have 2 pathologist that I've had direct contact with and they are looking into several'other ' possibilities. I still believe the fire had something to do with it, but i was assured it didn't.That creek runs directly through the heart of the town so who knows. Its got some people very worked up, this combined with the severe temperature fluctuations and plant anomalies(oak decline, bacterial leaf scorch to name a few). Mother Nature is going to hell in a hand basket
Quoting: shadasonic So do you live near the creek Quoting: Lost N Dying World I live in jeff city, but our firm has many clients that live on or close to flat branch and the gans creek area, huge conservation site with miles of hiking along and through the creek area Quoting: shadasonic have you been there recently, and if so have you noticed a odor like methane or gas Quoting: Lost N Dying World Nothing that I observed and yesterday I visited sites farther south than the fish kill and nothing, not to say there were'nt. The conservation dept. agents I've been in contact with seemed pretty distraught, but they have alot of eyes on them
