The Judge Rotenberg Educational Center is a facility that provides services for children and adults with “severe developmental disabilities and emotional or behavior disorders”.

The recent release of disturbing footage from the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center – featuring a restrained teenager who gets electroshocked 31 times – brought the controversy to a whole other level. While the Center claimed that the use of electroshock was a form of “therapy” to change behavior, the footage shows an all-out torture session under the watchful eyes and laughs of Center employees.

My brother who passed away a few months ago had cerebral palsy, so this story hits close to home for that reason, and because I have 3 kids of my own....if anyone did this to my kid.....wow......good luck finding that person afterwards

I hope they arrested them, I didnt watch the video as I have a 44 yr old mentally handicapped son. he trusts everyone and is so gentle it makes me sick to think anyone would beat him let alone strap him down and electrocute him, I wouldnt have let them do that even to my dog
