Does it matter what the reality is though? Like markets, its perception that determines action.

Will NK admit to failure, it foster the belief of a shoot down and react accordingly? Then the posturing of the World will lead to a self fulfilling scenario.

Agree with you.

It does matter considering there is too much unknown STILL about this rocket. We don't know if it has nuclear warhead.

So what happens if a 90 ton rocket (with nuclear capability) sinks in the ocean close enough to sea bottom and then explodes?

Doesn't take a physics expert to know that it could cause significant pressure if in the right area.

Not saying this WILL happen. I don't know what will or won't, but I have learned to expect the unexpected.
