NORTH KOREA LAUNCHES ROCKET - UPDATE North Korean rocket launch 'may have failed' - US officials The yanks shot this down using airborn lasers. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1610681 Makes it look like a fuel leak and subsequent explosion.... Could be. They should have covered it with cat's eyes - and shot that laser right back where it came from. Dumb NKs Well, it's up for debate whether it was just a POS missile or compromised from the beginning. Laser, though is entirely possible. Here's some 'old' tech... [link to www.nationalmuseum.af.mil] Our company produced a model of a turbine engine laser mounted outside an aircraft. It's not classified--I've seen articles on it. This was like 8 years ago. Who know's what we don't know. |

NORTH KOREA LAUNCHES ROCKET - UPDATE North Korean rocket launch 'may have failed' - US officials Been trying to find a video of so called failed rocket launch. Haven't seen anything yet. Unlike many I don't believe things just because MSM spews it. I like that stuff called evidence. Maybe it will come out later. Can't believe nobody recorded the flight for all the electronic eyes out there. |

Quoting: Strossus /end sarcasm So true, why is America so scared of everything, or is it the MSM that does it to them. I don't understand why no country can do things they do. Imagine if any country threatened to blow up a NASA rocket because the were paranoid there was a nuke onboard. |

NORTH KOREA LAUNCHES ROCKET - UPDATE North Korean rocket launch 'may have failed' - US officials So where are all the dip shits that called us tards for saying this missile WAS going to be launched? You notice how they just disappear????? Quoting: Idgits technically i wouldnt call this a launch, it was more or less just lobbed... into the ocean. : N. Korea rocket rose to altitude of 120 km before blowing up: Japan gov't (09:27) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1280804 [link to english.kyodonews.jp] I wouldn't call that just "lobbing" a rocket into the ocean. 120km is a serious height I just looked it up and that is over 39000 feet, that's pretty high. Multiply that by 10 and you're close... |

NORTH KOREA LAUNCHES ROCKET - UPDATE North Korean rocket launch 'may have failed' - US officials [link to www.cnn.com] Pyongyang, North Korea (CNN) -- Defying warnings from the international community, North Korea launched a long-range rocket on Friday, but it broke apart before escaping the earth's atmosphere and fell into the sea, officials said. "It flew about a minute, and it flew into the ocean," said Noriyuki Shikata, a spokesman for Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda. He added that Japanese authorities "have not identified any negative impacts, so far," though he said the international ramifications could be significant. "This is something that we think is a regrettable development," he said. |
