Though Tepco stopped the water leakage, coolant system is still not back on. At the moment, they can’t estimate when they can recover it. Also, they estimated the temperature increases at 0.5C/h, it’s increasing at over 1C/h. It went up by 22C within 18 hours. Currently the temperature of SFP is 55C.(10:00 JST) The safety limit is 65C. At this pace, it will reach 65℃ about in 10 hours.

Apparently, if this reactor goes- we all die.

Given a long enough time line this tragedy will kill everything in the northern-hemisphere. It's truly a disaster of biblical proportions. We should all prepare for the worst.

As far as I can tell- Japan is in control and not really seeking outside help at this point. I believe its a cultural thing about pride. But I could be wrong.

I don't know what irriates me more about this entire deal... 1) the fact that Japan did such a shitty job of making sure that they could take care of these things in case something like an earthquake happened and they had generators in place...or 2) the fact that our government continues to LIE to us about the dangers and what can be done to save ourselves. I'm so fucking tired of our government treating us like we are children and giving this appearance that everything is just fine as long as we go to them for the answers that I could throw up in my damn mouth.

the pool is 100 feet in the air...
the pool will reach 65C in 9 more hours...
65C is a threshhold past which... we go into
'out of control' thermal runaway cycle...
pool boils,
rods fuse,
molten heat breaches pool,
pool collapses,
rods fully exposed,
end of world.
