Severe Weather Risk High Across Oklahoma For Next Few Days

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The News 9 Weather Team is keeping a close eye on the radar due to the increased risk of severe weather across the state.

According to News 9 Meteorologist Matt Mahler, the storms will first appear in western Oklahoma. There's the possibility of strong winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes. Severe weather could possibly move into central Oklahoma overnight.

You really don't understand how crazy that sounds?
I don't argue the fact that you believe these things are the ultimate truth. YOU must understand that not everybody shares that belief. In fact, the vast majority of the world disagrees with your outlook. You're going to have to convert or kill aloooot of people to make up that margin.

I'm trying to explain to some of the folks here that the methods they use to try to put faith into non-believers' hearts are folly.

The overwhelming majority of these people continue to use threats and fear to convince others to turn to a life of faith. Threats of hell for those who blaspheme or chose to believe otherwise. Many would gasp in great disgust if I told them that the Bible doesn't mention hell in the way it's mentioned by God's followers. I've read the Bible and studied it extensively...it doesn't. There are plenty of other articles to convince you of that. Don't take my word for it; look it up. Just one example of many:

To answer your question, the PEOPLE get to me the most. That's becase I used to be one. I was raised that way and felt guilty my whole childhood every time I would question the validity of the Bible (which is NOT hard if you've read it). In the same breath, I would GREATLY commend parts such as "love your neighbor as you love yourself" or "turn the other cheek". So, as for the message...It all just depends on the message YOU get from the Bible.
If the message is: "I need to convert as many as possible because the world is going to burn if I don't" then, no...I don't agree with the message.
But I can always get on board with a book and a doctrine that openly professes love for all. Many on this forum will argue that "this is what I'm doing!" but no...it's certainly not. What the modern Christian is doing is psychologically bullying people to believe in their faith. Inventing a place called hell to put non-believers in. A place that they can use to mind-fuck people into joining their doctrine of "love" when an all-knowing, loving, and perfect God would have no need for such a place.

All I want is for Christians to actually read the Bible and take a message from it. Not to take it so fucking literally as to come up with dooomsday prophecies and exact guidelines to live your life. Just walk the walk and stop talking the fucking talk talk talk...
