I thought we were past "suspicion".

Confession or not it must be done in a court of law to be legal. If you tell the Police at the Police Station that you did it they cannot prove you guilty.

A Person cannot be found guilty unless A.) A Court finds them so. or B.) They plead "Guilty" in an open and public Court.

It's called the rule of Law. As opposed to the rule of the mob (of people.)

And yes, one starring this will magically make our system of Law and Court go away. Wow. You're One Star has done so much to make Courts and Civil Law obsolete. Congratulations.

With One Star you've torn down Centuries of Civil and Legal law.

The Rule of Law is important. Without we rule based on the whims of people. Based on emotion and suspicion.

A Person is NOT guilty until they Plead Guilty in Court. OR they are found Guilty, also in a Court.

Laws are overrated. Let the mob lynch the murderer Zimmerman.

It's all fun and games until you or a loved one is targeted by a mob. Then who will you go to? If the Courts are abolished and the police are part of the mob, what will you do then?

I suppose I'll sit back and watch mob justice at work. Maybe I'll feel all warm and cuddly inside.

Remember: The Courts are there to protect innocent people as well. Look at this example in a Land with no Clear, True, and Legal Court System:

You are baking in your home, in your kitchen There is leftover flour or sugar on your counter-top. Before you can clean it up, police burst through your door. They can you see because there is no more Constitution. Police can do what they want.

With no Constitution they have no need of a search warrant. The police go into your kitchen and see the flour/sugar. Assuming its crack they arrest you. On the spot they find you Guilty of: Drug possession, drug distribution, and drug manufacturing. Your hauled off to prison.

NOW. With a Constitution and Courts in Place:

The Police do the exact same thing. BUT you get YOUR DAY in court. The court finds YOU Innocent. The Court Finds the POLICE guilty. the POLICE get into legal hot water. Because the POLICE broke the law by bargiing in on you.

You get away and YOU are not charged.

THE POINT is Courts protect innocent people as well as putting guilty people away.

Easy. Martin was unarmed, on his way to his fathers house. An armed and self-proclaimed neighbourhood watchman shoots the kid. Sorry, I don't need a court to tell me that 1+1=2, nor to tell me that some overzealous dipshit has no right killing an unarmed kid with a firearm.

With Caylee Anthony's murder we could have any number of innocent people in prison. Even those who had no connection to her. Just people picked up and locked away because of suspicions.

How do you know Trayvon was unarmed? How do you know that Trayvon didn't attack Zimmerman first?

This is why we need courts to figure out the facts. Before assuming this or that.

No one because we have Courts. Without Courts and due process anyone could be found guilty. For any reason. Because there was no PROCESS done to figure out guilt and innocence.
