And that is the Baltic Dry Index. It is the indicator that shows the shipment of goods across the seas.

At it's peak it was well over 11,000.

It is still under 1000.

If we were in full recovery I would imagine that index would be around 5000 + now.

People are not buying like they did in the past.

It's just not happening. Goods are not being shipped across the high seas at nearly the rate the "robust economy" says there should be.

They are lying to us. It's hopium and bullshit.
