Robert KKK Byrd, senator from West Virginia
J. William Fulbright, Arkansas senator and political mentor of Bill Clinton
Albert Gore Sr., Tennessee senator, father and political mentor of Al Gore. Gore Jr. has been known to lie about his father's opposition to the Civil Rights Act.
Sam Ervin, North Carolina senator of Watergate hearings fame
Richard Russell, famed Georgia senator and later President Pro Tempore.
40% of the House Democrats VOTED AGAINST the Civil Rights Act,
while 80% of Republicans SUPPORTED itI could go on and on.. I could post the video of Jesse Jackson using all sorts of racial epitaphs, along with Al Sharpton.
I could post for days about the Democrats and their history of NOT SUPPORTING Civil Rights, and their current attempts to keep blacks in slavery, this time not in chains but via an all out war on breaking up the black family, removing the black fathers, and keep blacks dependent on the government for their well being, encouragement of blacks to engage in criminal behavior, and black mothers to continue to have children who are also dependent to welfare to keep the engine of oppression pumping and enable the Democrats to maintain a voting block.
Anyone with an IQ over 45, and history book understands the history of the Democratic Party, and their ongoing aversion of anything that resembles "Civil Rights".
