Well, technology advances via the "Law of Accelerating Returns," or, more simply, exponentially, sooo... Lame. Well, I guess I should clarify: technology doesn't always grow exponentially. At some point in the future 'growth' may become linear. But for the past couple hundred (thousand?) years I'd say it's been fairly exponential. |
