A Video For Christians and anyone else who might be curious and looking for answers...
The following link is to a Youtube video that I ran across. It is a narration of a NDE experienced by a man who claimed to be a Christian but during his NDE, he found out how much he had fallen short of what this really means. Regardless of who or what you believe in...it's a very interesting and highly informative narrative about what we call "Heaven."

The first minute or two is of the host of the video talking about the video. The rest is a narration by the host as he reads the account of the NDE that this man experienced. I post this, as I think there are some on here who will want to hear what he has to say.

Fair warning...the video is an hour long, so you'll want to either set aside some time to watch it, or watch it in increments.

Looks interesting, though from the comment he leaves to an 8 year old (whom I really feel for by the way), I think he still has some things to learn yet as to the nature of God.

I really believe, that our NDE experiences are a reflection on what we believe or what we have been exposed to at the time we have them. IE: If we believe Jesus is God, we will see that, if we believe Hell is real or have been told it's real and fear it on some level, we may see that, etc.

It's the entire reason everyone's experience is different, as they all believe and have been taught different things. Those things then shape what they see or don't see.

Perception is everything and is extremely powerful. Through it, we create our own reality up until we are actually ready for the real truth of the matter.

EDIT: Only watched a bit of the video so far, but seems to more or less confirm what I have said. The guy was a pastor, so he was being exposed to the ideas of modern religion and believed quite a bit of it long before this happened. I can just about guarantee you that colored his experience.

No one is perfect. A babe before walking will first stumble and fall many times but NEVER gives up until he succeeds.

Always remember, ultimately, to never follow any person's belief. Your relationship with God is between you and God.

If nothing else, remember this: religion = subservience, control and conformity, the same template as EVERY government

Hi:) I too have heard this theory of we see what we want to see and experience upon our deaths. I guess we'll all find out soon enough right?;)

I think if we are open to knowing what the actual truth is, we can know. Problem is, many aren't willing to go beyond what they have been taught to do that. They hold onto preconceived ideas and close out any others that contradict it. They in effect stunt their own spiritual growth.

Have you ever seen this site?

Lot of really interesting stuff there on this topic. hf

What a fantastic story... The guy dies, goes to heaven, meets the almighty god himslef who provides him with this special insight to "share" with the world. So naturally upon his return to the world of the living he writes down his story in order to sell it. I assume that god si okay wiht this since he will be getting 10%
