Slenderman and Mothman connection...
Last night, I dreamed that the Slenderman and the Mothman visited me....neither one said a word, though, they just stood there and watched me for a while, then left...

Re: Slenderman and Mothman connection...
You were watching the Biography channel last night, weren't you? The one about Famous People Ghost Stories?

The segment about an actor touring Canon City Prison in Colorado during the middle of the night to research for movie, and when approaching the gas chamber in the basement (no electricity anywhere) a lit candle was on a table and in the viewing area he and companion could see shadow figures through the glass. They both took off running but at the landing was another shadow figure with wings and the sound it produced were many voices of people screaming at once. This "dark angel" then flew down and growled like a huge "dinosaur" as the two men crouched on the steps covering their heads.

I often wonder if Mothman was really the one who destroyed that bridge in West Virginia or was there as a warning to the people. Eyewitness sightings of Mothman were allegedly located at the old decaying & abandoned munitions factory (which produced gunpowder during World War II) a couple of nights before.

Re: Slenderman and Mothman connection...
my knowledge of these things is quite extensive, i work for a government organization that contains and protects items of a paranormal nature, now read this well, because the information i give is vital.

slenderman is a being from the 5th dimmension that heads an akatsuki like group of monsters called the pandora society, these monsters, slenderman included, view humans as lesser creatures, basically this is what we down at the foundation call "angry god syndrome" its when a certain being is worshiped by less educated humans, then, because of it's now massively swolen head, it treats every human the same way, like food and/or a servant.

mothman however, is an entity from the same dimension who views humans as children, and like a big brother or parent, it does it's best to make us shy away from errors in judgement and also attempts to save as many lives as possible, case and point, before the silver bridge colapse, it flew to one of the boarding ramps and spread it's wings wide, taking up the whole roadway, no one passed, but because he's only one creature, lost of people died that day, but it still managed to save some.

your dream, to me, could have two possible meanings.
A: it was just a dream
or B: it means that the two opposing forces are on the verge of colliding, which would mean that mothman needs backup.

i hope i helped you understand in some way.

Re: Slenderman and Mothman connection...
there is extensive proof that he exists.
i myself have seen him as well as my co workers.
his true name is der ritter or "the knight"
the foundation has a cell they're keeping warm for him, but i doubt we'll ever catch him, no one can even get close.

Re: Slenderman and Mothman connection...
Hate to break it to you guys but there is no Slender Man. He is just an internet meme that spawned from the Something Awful forums, not a supernatural being from another dimension. There is no such government organization that specializes in paranormal or cryptozoological stuff either.
It's true that the "Der Ritter", the German woodcut translates to "The Knight" but that has nothing to do with Slender Man. Anybody can tell that there is a knight in the picture (during the Renaissance knights happened to be portrayed as classical heroes, who, as seen in fairy tales, protect the innocent from monsters, i.e. the skeletal warrior in the picture). Although there were stories during the Middle Ages relating to tall men lurking in the forest, they were only used by parents to keep their children in check.
As for Mothman, if he is real, he is a benevolent creature. But again, very unlikely, especially the part with his connection to the Silver Bridge collapse.
Cool dream, though; I think that would be enough to scare anybody. Trust me, this stuff is interesting, I enjoy learning about it and working on fictional stories relating to myths and legends. But only a small fraction of these things are factual. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to clarify that.

I think the funny thing is that, after being made up, clearly being given a story, with pictures and made up facts, all done openly...

People started really seeing Slenderman.

It was never a hidden thing at all, that it was meant to just be a story.

It gives us important clues as to the human mind and how reality is shaped.

The most interesting thing is when people report seeing Slenderman, but haven't ever heard of the phenomenon at all before.

*Again, agreed, all made up to start with. Nor do I think sightings mean that this thing has a physical presence at all. It's still something worth learning about.

Re: Slenderman and Mothman connection...
I think that the slender man is an innocent that was murdered in Germany and he is a ghost right now but don't worry about it I have some dreams about the slender man and I keep think about my story the beginning of random horror. But I am still investigating to prove that he is innocent and I don't care how long it takes and you think that I am that crazy to do I will free him form this world and I will help him cross him over.
