The earthquake in Chile had already been predicted by scientists before Owuor came along with his prediction, and the scientists gave more precise details, correctly identifying where it would take place.

The Haitian earthquake, which Owuor’s site boasts he predicted, was actually predicted for the Dominican Republic. It was there that he preached, warning the people, “I see you running for your lives, but I see that you have nowhere to run to.” Not a person in that country, however, was harmed. In Higuey, the city where Owuor gave the warning, there was only some very brief and minor shaking. Yet he and his site have the audacity to advertise “Prophecy of the Historic Haiti Quake finally fulfilled” under the title (our emphasis added) “Prophecies Accurately Fulfilled.”

DR and Haiti are on the same island. He nailed and the Australia floods which covered an area of Australia's land the size of France and Germany. Never happened there before.

I believe he's a true man of God. The bible tells us that we "know in part" so I don't expect him to have every detail. He's warning us its all going to get much worse and that we need to repent--to get right with God now while we can.

It doesn't matter if he gets 99% right and only 1% wrong , according to the Word , he is a false Prophet . That is how we test people claiming to be Prophets . And just because somebody has sings and wonders does not mean that they are inspired by God , as you know the Beast and his accomplice will have these things and other false Prophets can have them too .

That has nothing to do with being a Prophet of God , we can't just take the Word out of context to make our arguments . God's REAL Prophets are not even wrong once for how could they be since they are God's own spokesmen !

He has missed way too many things for me to take him very seriously. When I first heard about him I was amazed. After watching some of his videos, I am really not impressed anymore. Also, it seems they may be editing some of his videos because in one on Korea, he predicted a carrier would get hit by missiles. No... There are other examples but I don't feel like looking for all of them.

I am with the other poster... a true prophet is right 100% of the time.

Did God create evil?

At first it might seem that if God created all things, then evil must have been created by God. However, evil is not a “thing” like a rock or electricity. You cannot have a jar of evil. Evil has no existence of its own; it is really the absence of good. For example, holes are real but they only exist in something else. We call the absence of dirt a hole, but it cannot be separated from the dirt. So when God created, it is true that all He created was good. One of the good things God made was creatures who had the freedom to choose good. In order to have a real choice, God had to allow there to be something besides good to choose. So, God allowed these free angels and humans to choose good or reject good (evil). When a bad relationship exists between two good things we call that evil, but it does not become a “thing” that required God to create it.

Perhaps a further illustration will help. If a person is asked, “Does cold exist?” the answer would likely be “yes.” However, this is incorrect. Cold does not exist. Cold is the absence of heat. Similarly, darkness does not exist; it is the absence of light. Evil is the absence of good, or better, evil is the absence of God. God did not have to create evil, but rather only allow for the absence of good.

God did not create evil, but He does allow evil. If God had not allowed for the possibility of evil, both mankind and angels would be serving God out of obligation, not choice. He did not want “robots” that simply did what He wanted them to do because of their “programming.” God allowed for the possibility of evil so that we could genuinely have a free will and choose whether or not we wanted to serve Him.

As finite human beings, we can never fully understand an infinite God (Romans 11:33-34). Sometimes we think we understand why God is doing something, only to find out later that it was for a different purpose than we originally thought. God looks at things from a holy, eternal perspective. We look at things from a sinful, earthly, and temporal perspective. Why did God put man on earth knowing that Adam and Eve would sin and therefore bring evil, death, and suffering on all mankind? Why didn’t He just create us all and leave us in heaven where we would be perfect and without suffering? These questions cannot be adequately answered this side of eternity. What we can know is whatever God does is holy and perfect and ultimately will glorify Him. God allowed for the possibility of evil in order to give us a true choice in regards to whether we worship Him. God did not create evil, but He allowed it. If He had not allowed evil, we would be worshipping Him out of obligation, not by a choice of our own will.

Just because what he saw hasn't happened YET doesn't mean it won't. Dr. Owour never ever says WHEN something's going to happen. And prophets are not typically given to know when something's going to happen. For example, the Lord showed David Wilkerson things in 1974 that are happening today. When he got those words from the Lord, Pastor Wilkerson felt what he saw was imminent -- not decades away. God has shown me things too that felt NOW but were realized later.

The main thing Dr. Owour is doing is urgently calling people to REPENTANCE. No Christian can argue with that--and that's the main thing we should be focusing on.
