War...

I was reading about World War 1 the other day and noticed it started after a Royal Family member from Austria was assassinated plunging Counties with Defensive-pacts to go to war if one of them got attacked. It got me thinking if during the Olympics one of the Royals come to an end from a Terror-Plot with ties to a certain Country*Iran* could history repeat itself Plunging the World into WW3?

Or even not the UK Royal Family but another Royal got assassinated could it have a domino effect throughout the World?
