The Mormon DaVinci Code
New book claiming to be the Mormon DaVinci code - how the Lost Tribes landed in Cozumel where they tried to take out the first of many Mayan women rulers - including Uaxactun and Copan.

Through a "DaVinci Code-like" story, the book presents a new mathematical calculation that will for the first time validate the Morm's timeline, while at the same time showing what an incredibly destructive force the first Mayan "foreign war gods" were. As many Mayan scholars will attest, the Mayan landscape changed dramatically starting in 400 C.E., some 20 years after The Lost Tribes landed on the Central America shores.

In reality, The Lost Tribes were outcasts from the Constantine empire as two political factions fought over the divinity of Jesus. These early Christian politico's then took their women-hating views across the ocean and set on a path of domination and control over powerful woman Mayan leaders. The book claims to be based on many actual facts and is rich in Mayan history, it's pretty interesting.

Wonder how the Morm's are going to react - if they choose the timeline to validate their religion, they also have to admit how domineering and bloodthirsty this group truly was.

Re: The Mormon DaVinci Code
I'm not sure what is new here ... there has been a lot of speculation about the Mormon's entering into Central America, but where is the proof?

And regarding the timeline? Joseph Smith claimed the Mormon tribes were preaching about Jesus 600 years BEFORE Jesus was born. How does this book reconcile that BIG mistake. Seriously?

Re: The Mormon DaVinci Code
True, when Joseph Smith transcribed the "plates" he said the Lost Tribes lived 2300 (YEARS) ago ...

But instead of the Gregorian calendar "years", if you replaced it with the Mayan "solar year" which is a Kin (260 days) this puts the Tribes in Central America at 378 A.D.

Coincidentally, the first Mayan "foreign war god" was associated with events that happened during this same timeframe. Do you honestly think it's a coincidence that this "foreign war god" landed on the shores in 378, the EXACT time of Moroni and his son Mormon?

"Stela 15 is a monument containing only Maya glyphs. Keith Eppich dates the stela to 416. The monument contains the names of rulers back until mid-fourth century [7] The monument also describes how a foreign war leader Siyaj K'ahk, or Siyaj K'ak' came to Waka' during January of 378 A.D. According to epigrapher David Stuart (Mayanist), this stela supports the idea of Siyaj K'ahk' traveling through Waka' roughly eight days before taking over Tikal's government."

Remember, they were EARLY Christians, who had BIG issues with women - they didn't think twice about killing infant girls. So can you imagine such a group encountering strong, confident women for the first time? It sent them on a total path of destruction and it's no coincidence that the places targeted by this "foreign god" targeted women rulers.

Read the book.

Re: The Mormon DaVinci Code
Admittedly something big and bad happened during that time - although I can't imagine it's the 'Lost Tribes' of the Mormons. I am curious about where the foreign war god came from, nobody really knows.
