The situation was and is an ongoing emergency. It's being handled like a stupid government highway project, just loafing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7172545 Engineers can create emergency fabrications to stabilize #4 fuel pool, arguably the worst problem. Some problems are intractable, but can be mitigated, like the criticality in the corium in #1,2,3. I'm totally disgusted with the absolute apathy regarding this ELE potential event. Meanwhile, we're arguing about thugs shooting each other in Florida and Obama's vacations. Wake up people! Amen! |

What should be happening right now is, Obama should be on the phone to the Japanese government telling them in no uncertain terms to get their shit together or we'll send our people over to mop this up. Someone must do something and quickly, otherwise the Northern Hemisphere (and maybe the Southern too) is toast. There's enough radiation to wipe out all Human and animal life, which of course presents nuclear radiation problems locally from 200 some odd nuke plants here in the U.S. I say unmanned because if these fuel pools at Fukushima start burning, the radiation will be released into the air and we're downwind folks! So the time to act was a year ago, it may already be too late. |
