"4. It will vapourize the problem including the Plutonium."THAT is what I wanted to know. Thank you.  So a tactical nuke WOULD eliminate much of the problem.  That is truly fighting fire with fire.  BS. A tactical nuke wouldn't work. What you read was a blog of someones opinion that is very wrong. Nuking Fukushima is the worst idea ever.  These are the questions that need exploring. Since you say it wouldn't work.....please explain the logic and physics as to WHY. Unless you can do that....it STILL seem plausible in consuming much of the fuel.  there is very much a BIG difference between a china syndrome and a nuclear bomb event..... i shall try to find a link to the research for you, as i compiled it back in may last year.... will get back to you ;)
