I agree with you here the mind being just an interface...Really interesting post thanks for those! I see the ego as an advanced program pulling up reactions, from stored passed actions and reactions, for the actions around us. If observing the ego is accomplished, where is this observer observing from? And how to really connect back with this true observer?(hard to convey what I mean maybe you understand) Thanks  Yes. The brain is the physical computer and the mind is the software for us to interface with this physical reality. It interfaces with the fives physical senses; see, taste, touch, hear and smell. But this software has become our everything instead of sharing the load with our other interface, the heart. The heart is the interface with our spiritual self. This is really who we are! Not the physical body. This understanding has gotten lost. We don't listen to our spiritual self/heart and therefore we are in constant suffering because of it. Because of this, we have also completely forgotten who we really are! But, we are beginning to remember... Peace
