Re: How is your garden ?
We start late here in SW Idaho, we have starters in the bonus room but the garden cannot be planted until the snow is off a distant butte.....freeze will sure still come yet. But we love it here, today was a high of 58....maybe 70's by next weekend.

Spring seemed to come early in northern GA so I planted about 1/3 garden in march (70-80's) & pollen from hell.
only 1 cold snap (~42)
only casualty was some lettuce seedlings

Please tell me north Georgia mtns. That place is my 2nd home.

my garden is my victory garden! Together we will turn our back on the monster that taunts us to supple from it's udder. So now I look at my garden and my little animals and i'm like "I'm cool dude, you keep your pesticides and high fructose corn syrup I'm chilln pretty good right here without it". I highly encourage everyone to start a garden. Check out permaculture designs and just stick it to the beast. 777>666

Re: How is your garden ?
Corn is small this year and when cooked it is like bacon, shrinks to 1/2 size.

Lettuce came up early and turned bitter way too soon. Unedible....that includes Mesculin.

Cuccumber plants are fucking apeshit and look like they belong in the Amazon the leaves are so big.

Watermelon really spread but not bearing much fruit.

Cantaloupe is the same. Spread really well, took up massive amounts of space, yet only producing about 4

Tomatoes cherry and Broma are doing very well. Gigantic bushes and lots of fruit.

Onions and carrots are doing well but no telling on the size.
