ZAZZ, I have to give you credit for not being shy about showing everyone how completely ignorant and oblivious to reality you are...

The stock market is rigged, and now they have manipulated the gold and silver markets too. It is all so heavily controlled that gold and silver have been moving with the stock market instead of opposite of it. This makes me wonder how long they can control it before it all comes crashing down.

I heard on the radio the other day that the stock market is going up but volume is way low. I didn't get to hear the reason why that was.

IMO, the stock market became a joke the day that bad news was now good news. The worse the news, the better chance the Fed would print even more money.

of course the market is rigged, they keep stealing money left and right from those that don't know better. Stay far away from the stock market, don't invest in a 401K or any mutual funds, I would get out now before there is nothing left. Its all rigged and ready to go down.

i work for a company, manufactures car parts, and their projected sales/production to 2015 are going to go up 60%

just puttin it out there.

Agreed OP. I worked in the finance industry for about thirteen years. Much of that time was spent as a trader (both in institutional and consumer sides of the market)

The stock market is heavily manipulated. It's pretty much always been this way. However, it used to somewhat valuable as a barometer for the economy (many years ago). Now it is essentially useless for this purpose.

The weekly economic numbers are just as manipulated as the market. Of course this false economic data is a major driving force behind the stock market. It’s just a big shell game. They can make the market do pretty much anything they want with both external and internal manipulation.

The US is effectively bankrupt at this point. The only thing that is keeping it afloat right now is the Petrodollar system and the fact that the dollar is still the world reserve currency. Once this changes, the shell game is over.

Overall, stock market indicators reflect the degree of success attained by extracting wealth from the people, gutting productive enterprises through what I call 'buy and fry' acquisitions, and conning investors into believing an illusion of value in never-ending pump and dump schemes.

I suppose the stock markets could appear hugely profitable despite a starving populace.

Never forget it is just a delusion and a rigged casino.

My belief is that our government is using our tax payer money to push the markets up. Using inside info creating an illusion of a bull market and strengthening economy. Pulling out funds creating the volitility and transfer of wealth that they seek. My advice is to hoard, watch "Little House on the Prairie" for guidence and create value in your own lives..

You are correct, the enire financial system is a joke.

You are paid nothing for MM accounts and savings account, next if you are invested in a 401-k, you have so few options with how to invest.

This is forcing people one of two options, don't contribute into the account or invest in stock mutual funds.

This is planned by the bankers/goverment, not paying zip is forcing people to take unneeded chances.

Quite a few companies automtically enroll you, so you have no choice. This in turn is creating a false reading within the market.


As long as the bankers/government have say, all of us are screwed.

I live in Billings, and we have 2 new auto part store going in also..However new car sales have hit the floor.. people are just holding on to what they currently have.. So it makes sense that auto parts centers would be more profitable right now.. However as a corporate decision I wouldn't be investing in brand new facilities incurring all this new debt on situational and temporary profits..

..who said it did?...the market is thousands of companies that at any given time are doing well and badly...sucks to be in the building trade...great to be in the oil trade..that is mostly truckers and rig operators...to say the "market" is anything is silly talk by talking heads between soap commercials...I can only speal for myself, after 28 yrs of $300 @ mo into 3 no-loand mutual funds, $100 into each..I have a bit over $450k...I didn't buy single stocks, I didn't market time..and I didn't pay some broker 8% upfront...the market has been anything but a joke, it has allowed me to retire and play part time at a job I find fun but pays little...life's good and the market helped it a bit...

..how could it ?...that's like saying Aussies are laughing while people are starving all over the world..don't they care?..sectors in the market will reflect what those sectors are thought to do in the future...other than over reactions to headlines, the markets are all tommorrows not today or yesterdays...so while the market might jump today and you are unemployed, the two are not related..the market is guessing you won't stay unemployed..the real world is lots of companies doing great and others in the crapper...the market is a place for investing in the future NOT the present because good times and bad times change places...so the market is reflecting what is THOUGHT to be happening, in the reeal world, tomorrow...that's all..don't be pissed that some people are doing well...the market reflects as well as anything else...you think times are bad, I can show you stocks that have fallen off the face of the Earth...then there's Apple...so some are doing great and others poorly..what's new ?

If a car parts manufacturer is expecting that level of an increase, that tells me they expect a major economic slowdown, increase in unemployment, high inflation, etc. resulting in people repairing & keeping autos much longer as opposed to making a new purchase.

THey're caught in a trap, if the market collapses, it all collapses including derivatives, if they keep it juiced up on QE &Twist, then the cost of everything starts to hyperinflate, and the whole thing comes down because more people decide to stay home because they can't afford the gas to drive to their minimum wage jobs. Plus they're at the point now to where the more money creation they use, the faster it effects just the United States as other countries have caught on and started dumping dollars!

I am assuming when you say double regarding gold, food, and other commodities that you mean the price increases.
I dont shop in the grocery very much.Do most my food shopping online.Went to the grocery yesterday and it was total sticker shock.The items the prices didnt go up much were at least 1/3 to 1/2 less in size.I remember thinking that it was bad when you had to allow $1 per serving for food at home,now its at least $3 if you want meat at all.Getting bad real quick.

But that's kind of good, as most Americans are "fat", so maybe this "Economic Crisis" (Labeled "Great Recession" but really massaged as that, in reality "Great Depresson II"), will start to lose much needed weight from their "Gluttony" of lifestyle and weight!.

Stock market is artificially propped up in the same way that the Federal Reserve is buying up its own bonds.

It's like my left pocket loaning money to my right pocket, where did it realy get us.

The stock market is it's own world. It pays no attention to anything but it's own members and their income.

Or how about the left hand washing the right and the right hand washing the left. Or for that matter, like most royal families that marry within family (cousins, 2nd cousins, 3rd cousins), "keep the money in the family!"
