Americans get 35% of their calories from Fat. 15% from protein. And 50% from Carbs. They are fat.
Japanese get 80% from Carbs. 10% from Protein and 10% from Fat. They are thin.
We eat the fewest Carbs as a percentage of total Calories out of any industrialized nation.
If low carb diets made you FAT we would be thinnest on the planet.
