Bottom line, he used language that is inappropriate for TV.

Common sense would dictate that while in a studio, one should not use inappropriate language at any time.

I don't care if it is the general rule of thumb in his circles to speak in this manner. It is unprofessional and imbibes viewers with a sense that he is too unintelligent to form a cohesive and rational sentence, is unable to control his own behavior and without any sense of personal responsibility.

What? You think the TV's will feel offended? The people watching it sure won't. You guys use it all the fucking time.

So what he talks like anyone else would do who isn't on TV. You talk about responsibility as if he just killed a child on TV.
You are funny.

I beg your pardon, I do not use profanity.

My vocabulary is expansive enough that I do not have to resort to using it.

His lack of personal responsibility = he used the word on TV against FCC rules and then refused to apologize for doing so. I find any lack of personal responsibility as abhorant. If you commit an error, admit to it, accept the responsibility, apologize and correct it if possible. If someone dinged your car, you would expect them to pay for the repair. If someone made a false accusation against you or your family, you would expect them to recant it and apologize for misunderstanding or lying.

As for the word, it is not the specific word that offends me , it is the fact that he uses it to attempt to show show a superiority that he clearly lacks. He is vulgar , profane and vile in manner. Rather than have a rational discourse, he resorted to screaming, yelling and profanity to deflect from the fact the he was clueless.

He also used it while speaking with a lady and directed the profanity at her.

Where I grew up, that is unacceptable.

Some of us are brought up to treat others and ourselves with respect in both word and deed whether they deserve it or not because in doing so we are exhibiting self-respect.

This is a state of being called "civility" part of which utilizes a set of special tools called "manners".
