I know there is a lot of controversy about garlic, but I have given it to my dog for years. It works and it is cheap, it takes care of the fleas and because he is outside a lot it keeps the worms away. All I do is sprinkle a little granulated garlic on his food and I never had a problem, but talk to your vet if you have any questions.
Quoting: MercyAmber Now garlic DOES work! And as long as you are giving it in a safe dosage for the weight of your pet, it will be just fine. Also good for expelling tape/pin worms in an emergency until you can get Droncit. Quoting: Grateful Sinner 12992226 safe dosage for dogs, but garlic IS NOT SAFE FOR CATS. Check out the amethyst stone in water bowl for cats. sounds new agey but lots of people swear by it. google it
