What you aren't factoring in is that they know that the dollar will collapse and they know when. It was designed to fail from the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913. They have all the wealth. They don't need us anymore. They want to reduce population now.

The dollar WILL be replaced as the world's currency that is for sure. The question is when and how long can it continue to be propped up before that time.

There are a lot of forces working to bring about this change, and there are a lot of forces trying to stave it off until they can dump their dollars to limit their losses.

It is truely amazing that the inevitable has been put off for so long, but it cannot be put off forever. We need to be patient and relax and it will happen - it has to.

Your argument is akin to telling me I don't understand that 1+1=5 because I'm not factoring in that 1+1=5. And 1+1 was designed to equal 5 because the department of education was created in 1867. 1+1 doesn't equal 2 cause they have all the 2's and want to reduce the amount of 2's now.

The POTUS (puppet of the united states), position is not really a huge factor in this. It doesn't matter on whose watch it happens, it is going to happen. It is a ticking time bomb.

The USA has somewhere around 310 million people. Compare that to China, Russia, and other countries. So you are suggesting 310 million is too many for the USA?

Hell - if any POTUS wanted to pull the economy up and expand the USA power then start buying land and expanding the country (start with northern Mexico). Absorb immigrants and increase the taxpayer base, which drives business investors to spend etc.. if anyone wanted to take over the world then expand.

As it is now, the way you make it seem is the dollar crashes and our lives are changed forever. Nobody ever said life was going to be the same all the time. I am more afraid of being 'micro-managed' by others i.e. government jerks.

So any attempt to defend our independence is squashed and we are placed in FEMA camps.. then the underground uprising begins.. until another country takes advantage of our new-age civil war. Look - when we all look back at this in 50 years from a different place and time, we will realize why morals and principles were so important. As it is now, nobody tells the truth, everyone lies to get what they want and sell anyone out to get it.

Bleeding heart 'victims' spawn laws that get abused by manipulators, not victims, which then create more real victims. Cops lie, government lies, and your neighbor lies. Even spouses lie to keep the peace. The only thing we can do is realize we have to do what we have to to protect ourselves any way we can, and be prepared to stand on our own again.

At this point we are all tired of the bologna and want the 'reset button' to be pushed. Just do it already.. and get it over with. Anything is better than the way it is now.

Like you said TPTB already have everything all the power and glory they could ever want. They do not want to loose this in a worldwide collapse. They will attempt to postpone the collapse as long as humanly possible. This will first be done by the slowing down of growth (we are in this phase now). At some point the masses will not accept the growth slower than the previous and demand TPTB create growth faster than the previous. Since this is not possible without destroying what was already conquered TPTB will be forced to destroy what is already conquered (ie. go to WAR). Depending on the amount of destruction, growth greater than the previous growth can be reinstated for a brief period of time until the destruction has been replaced. At this time the cycle will have to repeat or measures (ie police state) will have to be put in place to prevent the masses from demanding growth greater than the previous growth again.

Regardless of how it actually plays out the end result will have to include economic deflation as continual increasing growth is no longer possible.

Old Ben needs the fear of devaluation to spur money velocity. In the end old Ben will not trash the dollar as it is his source of power. If you think he has no choice you are very mistaken.

This decade pretty much shows their tool box. Immense borrowing from Japan, China, Middle East, and printing money, QE1/2/3, and all sorts of financial tricks and shenanigans.

Precisely. That is my point. This is planned. It has a schedule. We better be ready.

They are QE'ing just the right amount to keep the bond rates low and banks solvent. Then when necessary create the scare of inflation to drive savers into panic spending, but not so much as to make necessities completely unaffordable. If necessities get too high they threaten to cut off QE and crush the speculators. This cycle is repeated as the economy is slowly adjusted towards a more sustainable path. The problem starts when the masses refuse to live sustainably.

Sorry but this is a debt collapse not a currency collapse. Big difference! In a debt collapse the dollar is king. In a currency collapse the dollar is trash.

We are facing the former not the later.

I have forseen this scenario and have prepared to the best of my abilty. I pray that you have done the same and that the Lord God sees you through the difficult times ahead for they surely are in our path!

Agreed on the greed, for many; but not all. It is an exploitable problem. I am not of this ilk, and also know that is a trait that MUST change for humans to evolve. So I guess we do agree after all. However, in the mean time, we still have this problem looming, for which many may suffer.

As the dollar loses its world reserve currency status, more and more dollars will be coming home to roost. There will be too many dollars competing for not enough resources. What do you call that?

Isn't it kind of up to us to decide when to stop being the pawns in this whole fucked up thing? Also, what happens AFTER the inevitable collapse?
