Very haunting melody !

I hope and pray things continue to improve ! How long is the expected recovery time?

I have so many beats, that in my opinion, have amazing melodies, but my only problem is making them into more complete beats with changes, drops, intros, outros, bridges, etc....

I get hung up on the main melody part, like completely stuck on it for hours, and by the time I realize what I'm doing I save and then stop for a while. I feel as if I'm ruining the beat sometimes, and other times, after I save the beat and stop, I'[l completely forget that I started making the beat.

TY, we're going to be picking him up soon and we'll see. They said 4-6 weeks, BUT...I guess we'll see if he decides to have surgery on his lower back. It would be better to do it now versus later, so...?

Notinfallible, I want to check out your songs later, I don't have a chance right now but REMIND ME! So much going on right now, but I liked the other song that you did.

BTW everyone, I saw a post that was made yesterday, I believe it pertained to doing a random act of kindness. Maybe someone can do the same today as it inspired me!

Thank you guys... For being you... I read the thread more than I post on it.. Alot of times I am on and off pc within minutes (2 yr old keeps me hopping) But in this crazy world and the craziness of GLP (which we all are addicted) It is nice to have a thread with friends... Post jokes.. ask for prayers or postive wishes.. Share videos and such... or just yack about whatever... Just wanted to say thanks for being here.. Ya all are part of my second family.. Love ya all

TY everyone for such kind thoughts, keep the positive vibes coming. He's home and at least able to eat, this surgery was for his upper back, cervical area....and so there's an incision on the front of him on his neck. I guess it is easy to operate by doing it front to back? He's able to eat but I'll try to stick to soft foods, so am open to suggestions as to what I can make that may be soft but not baby food

I'm listening to this now and I gotta agree with Tiger, very haunting melody...I LIKE it! You really have some talent! Out of curiosity, how do you go about composing stuff like this? I guess you have a program and one of those "beat boxes" that I've seen people use on Youtube? Sorry if that sounds dumb, I don't know what else it would be called

Homemade split pea soup... Wish I could find some split peas here in Mex.. All kinds of beans, but not those.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea...I may have a ham bone in the freezer that I saved too!! He likes ham and split pea soup BUT...the kids don't, and if I were to make it I'd make a bunch, at least this way he'd be able to eat more and me freeze some versus freezing the majority of it. Thanks for the idea, I'll have to fish around in my freezer now

I missed this, you are right...I love it :) My handheld blender is poopy, and since I usually low carb I make these as a substitute for mashed potatoes. Anyone who is curious, TRY AND MAKE THIS! It is so good! What I do now is use my regular upright blender and just blend and blend the cooked cauliflower and add some cream, cheese, garlic, salt and pepper. Oh, it is so good! Have you ever tried mashed rutabaga?

Homemade ham and bean soup with a pan of fresh and hot cornbread with lots of butter !!! Now THAT is a soothing meal !!! :)

I just finished making a beat. Feel free to listen to this if you would like. I borrowed the melody from a beat that I made a couple of years ago, which is a great beat, but there's something about this remake that I absolutely love.

I would like to ask that you keep my family in your prayers right now. My husband's grandmother has Alzheimer's, and is in a coma. She has been in pain, and was hooked up to feeding tubes. We made a hard decision to remove the tubes, and now it is only a matter of time. We will be going to Florida for the funeral probably next week.

I am sorry to hear that. I can't imagine what it must have been like for you and your family to be put into a position to make such decision. You did the right thing.
