I am sorry.... I feel like I have been neglecting my own thread :( ....

Been busy trying to find a job. And it isnt going to well So spending my time doing that instead of here. But I do check in and read even if I dont post so dont think I am gone.

Around here, IF you can find a part time job, you are lucky. My youngest has been working a part time seasonal job (April 1st to October 1st) for 3 years now. Her boyfriend just found a job a month ago, washing dishes and doing clean-up in a local restaurant.

I did not hear that in the beginning but then I started reading the comments and someone said that as well, that he or she heard 'open condom style. Since then I am hearing it too, and can't go back to not hearing it. lOl

Haven't seen that video that you posted in a long time. That was an awesome one too.

I have not been around, just enjoying the last few days before the kids school starts up again.

This was one weird summer.

My youngest is starting college on monday, and is moving into the dorm this friday. I am going to miss my baby !

Awe, I wish her the best! It must be hard for you. Mine is 3, and I'm already dreading it.

I am crying already this morning. I will be a basket case once we get her settled in this afternoon, and leave her there.

Too many people get frustrated and do not realize how special those moments are when a little one is so little.

She started school at 3, Head Start Program. She was already reading, and doing things on her own. I didn't worry so much, because her 2nd oldest sister was going to the same school. Plus, we were literally down the street from the school, that close. She wanted to go to school so bad, had such a desire for learning, I couldn't hold her back until Kindergarten.

I was horrible most of the day. We had to go to the bank this morning so she could open up her own checking account for her scholarships and grants monies. She has thousands over and above what she needs for school, so she absolutely needed to open up her own account for the balance. This money is going to be her living expenses. She is very well covered, to say the least. I was crying at the bank, and then she started crying too. The poor lady at the bank started sniffling too.
Since my daughter is still a minor,(she skipped a grade), I had to sign for her account. She could have easily handled it on her own, but she is not going to be 18 until next year. The same at the college. I had to sign a permission slip for her to participate in the student activities this weekend.
I was holding it in pretty well, until it came time to leave. Then I lost it.

Awe, how sweet! It sounds like she's highly intelligent, and mature for her age. You've done good, Mom.

Thank you Chrit. I couldn't agree more. It seems just yesterday we were taking her home from the hospital. Every day is precious, and she's growing up way too fast. I wouldn't trade these moments for anything.

She has been such a blessing from the moment she was born ! She has never given me any trouble, has always been polite, courteous, helpfull, and compassionate.
I got an email from her this morning, and I started to cry again. :(

He's a former K1 world champion - 2010 (?), and a notorious (viscious) loose canon.

His complete lack of (nessesary) discipline inside the ring mirrors his behaviour outside the ring.

Right now he's in jail, where he's been accused (six counts) of beating up people, - publicly, in clubs & bars - just because he can. In non of the cases he has beaten up someone who - not even by far - could match his fighting skills.




Mata Hari is not his mother but a famous Dutch spy from the beginning of the last century.

I've been okay - thanks for asking! Just dealing with a lot of little things - nothing too bad - and trying to keep my plants alive! I tend to be more involved on GLP in Winter.
