I do most of my homemade soups in the winter. It really warms the house up real nice, with that big pot on the stove cooking all day. :) I can actually turn my furnace off during most of the day, when I got a big pot cooking.

French Onion is a good summer soup, IMO, as long as you got some French Bread slathered in butter to go with it ! :) My daughter ate some shredded chicken tonight. She said she cannot stand any more pudding and soup, and wanted some real food.Her face is still really swollen, but the golfball has shrunk to about half the size it was this morning. Now it looks like 1/2 a golfball on her jaw. :( Tiger - I am so sorry. My heart goes out to your daughter! I can't imagine how much pain she must be in. It's so sad that they couldn't knock her out. It just doesn't seem right. Insurance companies are the devil. She will be in my prayers.
