As someone who is losing his sight I just wanted to thank you for posting this. So your pinned! Why not go get a 2nd opinion from a differant doctor? Also, try the Kraft Eye Institute in Chicago. They are supposed to be very good. They are only a couple of blocks away from the South Shore Railroad's last stop at Millenium Station. You are in my prayers. Dear, way past that part. I am 0.05% of the people with this disease, of that 0.05% the first symptom is sudden and permanent blindness. I got lucky I was going blind for 5 min a day every day; one of those times should have been forever. My eye pressure was 48 when I was diagnosed. I acutely love my doctor he left his hospital and started a private practice because of me. Because I had to pay cash for my experiment surgery’s he came up with a way to make it cheap for me. Well still a few grand total but it was cheap. He is one of the top 50 in the states…I should already be blind, I am a walking miracle. =) Every day I look at the world with young eyes because it might be my last day of sight. With my doctors help we pioneered a new surgery or I would already have been blind. I'll post about it later one more time BTW grats OP on the job!What an amazing story!
