So if the US were to bomb NKorea in retaliation... NKorea would have no choice but to bomb Seoul or do something really stupid which would create a big ass war.

The US wants to start a war with everybody. Why is a third nuclear test the line in the sand?? They've allowed N.Korea to do many other nuclear tests so why now? This is really stupid

When is the last time you looked at their homebrew hardware? The stuff is 50s hardware with 90s software. Their military is on par with other under-developed/developing world militaries and they spend the least amount in the Persian Gulf. They can mobilize up to 1mil persons, but they would be hard pressed to keep them busy or utilize them outside of their own country.

I'd be willing to bet that you in the UK could muster some old dusty equipment and deal with them yourselves if you wanted. I'm sure that Canada could take them on themselves too, if they really wanted. It is a fallacy that they [the Iranians] have a modern military. The risk has been and continues to be other countries, such as Russia, who still posses nukes (they are still on the road of modernization).

Iran and North Korea are both localized threats that threaten strategic interests.

While North Koreas military technology and might overall is decades behind modern europe, which is decades behind the United States military, there is one thing that would make conquering North Korea difficult.
Their massive unground bunkers placed across the entire nation. This is a country that has been waiting to be invaded for literraly 70 years.

The US desn't fight geurilla wars well, such as in irag and afghanistan, now imagine an entire army, an entire nation just waiting in their bunkers to pop out, kill you, then scrury away into their caves.

An invasion of North Korea may only truly end, when they realize that we here in the modern world actually have food, and a crazy thing called technology. North Koreans would hopefully lose their "love" of their leader, and surrender so they can actually eat something.

Russ you should send your calendar to Kim Jong Un. He is a new leader and struggling a bit. Maybe if you threw him a lifeline and explained all the magic powers of your calendar, he might switch North Korea over to your calendar? Then you will have SOLID PROOF that your calendar can stop wars, end starvation, ect ect ect!!!!!
