Make sure every single mass populated cities on earth to be destroyed and would never give US any chance to escape a nuclear winter and total fallout. Don't forget US has Plenty of nuclear power stations as well and Yellow Stone. Unless US can build up a shell of protection covering the entire US mainland, or move to the mars. I was watching discovery one night, they showed a single bomb dropped from a jet, that would take out an entire convoy. All these little disc that pop out, spin up, use lasers to find targets, and go after them. It was AWESOME.

The pilots do not acquire a target, the bombs have many targets programed in and the bombs them self select the specific target they will hit by themselves. Home base programs in all the targets at once and the program destroys targets in an order that it it self prioritizes automatically.

These were originally designed to be dropped by the thousands by B-52’s but have been used on all weapons platforms because of their size. They do make bigger ones also. They can also stay over target by themselves till one of opportunity shows up.

I remember watching a CGI animation of these taking out an entire urban town over a few hours; it was the vid that sold the weapon system. I’ll look around for it but it’s been a long time.

I haven’t seen it in at least 4 years. I have been waiting for full deployment of this system a long time.

The US Navy RENTED it from the Swedish government so they could try to figure out how to find it.

We only "found" this one after they surfaced in the middle of the Kitty Hawk battle group.

Surfacing your sub in the middle of the opposing fleet is like giving the the moon, big time.

Actually that underwater missile that was fired off the California coast by the Chinese sub was more of a massive MOONING and UBER embarrassment of the US Navy.

Yes the US won the set piece battles in Vietnam. What else would be the out come with airpower? It was definitely lost on the strategic level before it even began. One could argue that it was lost on the tactical counter insurgency level as well. It seems to be an article of faith with the true believers that the war was lost through lack of political will. Vietnam was lost because it wasn't "winnable" in the first place.


The US will soon find out the same in Afghanistan. The US government already lost in Iraq. The regime there is shia and unfriendly to US interests. The American troops that left did so at two a.m. in the morning quietly. Nowhere outside the green zone is safe for americans.
