It's a picture of Fukushima #3 blowing up. The picture is from a boat filming toward the land; particularly filming toward Fukushima nuclear complex.

You can match the buildings in the video to a map view of Fukushima and determine precisely where the picture and boat were at the time of the explosion.

It was a nuclear explosion.

It was, though, not a full-scale thermonuclear bomb explosion.

It was the hydrogen and fuel rods blowing up.

I was watching for a "shockwave" to move across the water toward the camera. Didn't see one...no nuke

people can do amazing stuff with cg now but that looks like a real explosion to me, nuclear explosion though I doubt very highly, unless the person filming this died right after from the shockwave and went blind from the light that comes off a nuke...

That looks like the default fire effect on some cheap video animation software, I reckon.

Not to mention his voice gives it away in .5 seconds. You dont need to speak the language to understand when someone is full of crap.

its not a good comparison to compare a thermonuclear above ground test with a nuclear explosion inside a containement vessel and building.

don't forget, those reactor containment vessels are made of very thick steel, encased in concrete and housed in buildings made of re-inforced concrete several feet thick

they were designed to contain the most severe accident, but it doesn't take much to figure out they failed, spectacularly.

what is wrong with your people? did you not see the other three reactors blow? stop shilling for the nuke industry. This reactor 4 had more fuel rods than the others you can clearly see that this explosion was much larger than the other ones. And you don't think more eyes are on this area than before since many have said reactor 4 is unstable. This guy filming it is probably doing something that REAL journalists aren't doing which is filming whats REALLY going on there. No doubt this is reactor 4.

At a certain size all explosions form a mushroom cloud, the upward draft of air from heat forms the basic shape.

They need to nuke that nuke plant
