[Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
After analyzing many of Kubrick's films I have concluded that he was trying to tell us all something subliminally. He is an absolute master of using every bit of every frame to guide the viewer, even the sound track. A Clockwork orange is a story of a sexually abused child growing up to be a sexually abusive adult. The treatment of watching violent films put to Beethoven obviously doesn't work but shows what we are being subjected to. Eyes Wide Shut is exposing our leaderships satanic cults. The Shining has underlying themes of the Federal Reserve and Gold if you pay enough attention. I highly recommend watching his movies over and over and analyzing what's in the frame and how it pertains to what is going on. Especially things in the background.

Re: [Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
They are everywhere in his works. He also left a library of work after he died. It is available at the University of Arts London. This also provides evidence that he was trying to bring issues to light by subliminally stimulating the viewer. Subliminals are a key to coping with reality today. The more aware you are being onslaughted with them, the more you see them and realize what they are and thus destroying their intended purpose of getting your subconscious trained to drool at the ring of a bell like pavlov's dogs.

I'm interested in the analogy with the Shining and the Federal Reserve. Could you cite specific examples of some parallels?

Re: [Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
I've always found it interesting that he stopped (was stopped?)at 13 films - an occult number.

You've not even mentioned the controversy surrounding 2001: A Space Odyssey and the fact that Kubrick may have helped fake some of the footage from the Apollo moon landings. All that stuff about monoliths and murderous monkies at the beginning has always creeped me out. It appears to me that Kubrick was "in the know" and felt that because of a secret he'd kept, he had immunity to tackle certain subjects as long as they were cloaked in allegory - Clocwork Orange is eerily like the MK-ultra stuff, isn't it?

Check out this guy for the connection between Kubrick and the moon landings. Personally. I find it all rather compelling.

Re: [Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
The theory is that while filming Paths of Glory, he was contacted the gov for footage (factually), he made some deals with the right people, and touched the inner circle.

The shining seems to have a lot of that leaking out.

He meticulously filmed everything you're seeing. Sometimes spending months on one scene.

The moon landing connections are great. Kubrick was definately trying to nudge our minds in a certain direction. I'm not convinced that he had anything to do with the crap that NASA put out but I am convinced that he knew that it was a ploy ;)

He would make actors do over 20 takes with no direction. The blood flowing out of the elevators in the Shining was shot over 4 times. I'm off to work. I hope this thread stay active all day. I'm looking forward to seeing what all people bring up about his works.

One interesting thing to note is that Eyes Wide Shut came out on the 30th anniversary of the moon landing. I do think he was involved and trying to confess. Was probably severely guilt-ridden.

Re: [Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
I wonder if he was trying to warn us, or whether it was more of aiding and abetting the elite since we all know they like to give clues as to what they're up to. I read somewhere the Full Metal Jacket has billboards in Vietnamese that say "Hail Satan," or "I Love Satan," or some such. I've heard Kubrick was indeed a Satanist.

He was the greatest filmmaker of all time, in my opinion. I usually watch one of his films over and over every night before bedtime. Currently on Lolita. I'd be interested to hear more about what subliminals are in that one, since it was one of his early films.

Eyes Wide Shut is of course his masterpiece. There are so many shibboleths in that film it would take a book to write about them all. Wrong Way Wizard's blog has dealt with them in great detail. Sorry I don't have a link handy and no time to search it out right now. Just google him.

An interesting thing about Lolita is that he completely changed the character of Claire Quilty. In the book he was a dentist but in the movie he is some kind of playwright and hollywood producer. His house is full of pagan-themed decorations. At one point Lolita's mother exclaims that Humbert 'brings out the pagan in her'.

Also, he tries to get Lolita to participate in 'art films', which I interpret as a reference to all the sexual depravity and pedophilia taking place behind the scenes in hollywood.

Thirdly, Humbert comes to the states in part to teach existentialism, a bleak nihilistic philosophy that teaches the luciferian doctrine that man, rather than God, is the end and measure of all things.

Definitely plausible. I'm not one to throw any ideas out. That connection is a nice pointer towards your direction. To be honest I haven't looked much into his involvement with the moon landing stuff, just his juxtaposing of it in his films.

Re: [Stanley Kubrick]=|=[TRIED TO WARN US]
The fact that he changed the endings of a lot of what he adapted is very significant I agree. Steven King hated Kubrick's adaptation of The Shining - the ending especially is much darker than the book, which is already a horror novel. And in the book A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, the ending is completely different. Alex just grows out of his violent phase and mellows out. In the film, it's much more cynical and creepy with a ginning Alex "restored" to his original psychopathic condition by the corrupted "state".

Another interesting thing to note is that he refused to put his name on Arthur Clarke's version of 2001, in order to preserve the originality of his interpretation as expressed in the movie.

I really enjoy this stuff and didn't even think about Kubrick until I discovered GLP over a year ago.

The shinning and the Apollo references are fascinating.

I watched Eyes Wide Shut last week for the first time. Will never look at Nicole Kidman the same way...she is smoking hot! As were all the chicks in the film. Would love someone here to show explain to me all the so called called "Illuminati Satanic rituals in the film.

To me is was just a bunch of rich jackoffs who like to have anonymous sex. Who doesn't? So they have some goofy rituals...

I found the costume store sequence a bit disturbing because of the girls age...

Would love to hear some analysis...

Yeap, Kubrick was a master of photography and all of his movies are works of art. The messages that he tries to communicate are difficult to decipher. Although his movies look more logic than David Lynch's ones, they have deeper meanings hidden well from the eyes of the viewer.

Depends on how you interpret it. One the one hand it is a bunch of silly rich people running around in robes and masks having orgies. But on the other hand it shows a network of highly-connected secretive elites indulging in highly-formalized, ornate mass rituals for the harvesting of sexual energy and other even more unsavory energies to appease certain forces which we can assume are not benevolent. Sounds a lot like Bohemian Grove, now doesn't it?
