DMT, 2012, species wide brain damage, and ascension
This is sort of like an updated stoned-ape theory (if your familiar with terence mckenna).

Free .pdf the author put out. If you don't wanna just read the whole book check out his sites. There is tons of info on them.

So.... you wanna give the lo-down to all of us stoned apes out here? You aren't seriously gonna make me read all that, are you?

(Only half kidding! Could you paraphrase the difference from the theory as we are used to seeing it?)

Consider the possibility that you order yourself into being from chaos... You do this, always, in all ways. This "ordering" has resulted in the possibilities you're experiencing, here, now. In each experience you've ever had, more and more of "this" reality is generated logically from your previous experience. Your observation of this unfolding of order and chaos is reality.

seems plausible. everyone I know that has done DMT has mentioned that IF they break through. they meet a 'creator' of sorts. and they learn the meaning of life.
and then they forget it afterwards. but it remember it happened xD

Getring "there" requires some kind of obscure key and it's always outside what is socially acceptable or legal. But there are other ways beyond drugs to attain that profound state of awareness and understanding. Sit quietly and close yoir eyes, think only on the darkness and white noise on thw back of your eyelids, let yourself notice the sound and feel of your breathe as it enters and exits your body. Do this with no expectations for at least ten minutes... and i am sure you'll notice something a little different when you come to.

ugh..hyperspace and a ten minute meditation are two VERY different things. I've been meditating for years and while i can enter some interesting states, there isn't really any comparison (not that some gifted individuals can't get there, i don't know)

The point is that we all consume these external things ALL THE TIME in our diet. Food is LOADED with chemicals that affect our consciousness, and our bodies produce dmt, and many other psychedelics internally as well.

The whole "do it yourself" route (i.e. meditation) is good and all that. But your only limiting yourself if you choose one route over the other. A person who only dabbles into psychedelics is limiting themselves, just as a person who only dabbles into meditation is limiting themselves. They could get much farther if they explored both avenues of human experience.

If you think psychedelics are unnatural, look at the thousands of animal species that consume mind altering plants/chemicals for valid reason in they're natural habitat. These things are medicines, and this has been verified recently by the countless new studies being done.

And you do realize that meditation produces such affects by altering the chemicals in our brains right?

Its just two means to a similar thing. I'm not saying 'we are the chemical interactions in our brains', or any other sort of overtly materialistic/reductionist explanation, but these things certainly are involved in orchestrating our awareness on some level.

You don't really seem to familiar with psychedelics. Check out the dmt-nexus. Most folks combines various practices (most often meditation) with they're psychedelic experiences. And, go figure, its pretty widely accepted that many of the ancients who developed these various practices also used psychedelic plants.

I can vouch that meditating will not, in any way shape or form, EVER gey you as far as smoking a huge rip of DMT. You might THINK you get close. but if you're still thinking, instead of having a universal/cosmic download from a supernatural insectoid/archon type god, you're nowhere NEAR where you should be.

DMT is produced when you meditate, for sure, but smoking it will get you to places you could NEVER get, even if you were meditating 24/7 for your entire life.

Re: DMT, 2012, species wide brain damage, and ascension
Until I opened the door with an obscure key (the topic of this thread), my meditation was really relaxing but meaningless. Since I've realized my limitations are self imposed through the use of 1-ups (mario style), lucid dreaming and obe are interestingly easy to fall into. We don't have to be gifted, we just need to be open to the possibility that anything can happen.

I fully agree

But i should note that it does seem at least slightly possible to build a bridge, of sorts, if you know what i mean. Many can bring hyperspace into they're awareness via 'sober' meditation but it still isn't even close to the full on DMT experience. Its actually more like a lighter dose ayahuasca, in my experience at least.

Anyways, i enjoy both tremendously, separate or combined.. And while i'll admit that it might be a possibility there are 'other' ways to it, i think its best to explore many things.

I got stoned when i started reading it(I even have it saved on my Iphone). I have not finished it yet but it does go along with what i understand thing to be very nicely. I am a little more interest in the esoteric level and so fare that only touches on this. Although i only remember about the vegetarian diet was better for our evolution stuff right now and i already know and understand that and i like how they put it into a scientific understanding for the skeptics and ones looking for concrete proof. So yea, Bravo in that respect. Plus i love Terrance Mckenna's work.

And then i started reading this:
