its actually not proven at all that dmt is even made by the pineal, or that its released when you die/dream/born/etc..

Although it has the necessary enzymes so its not much of a stretch..but still it is odd everyone thinks this sort of thing is proven. Personally i think it is, but its probably all way more complicated than most think (there is likely a plethora of MAOI and tryptamines involved in these endogenous experiences)
