I don't want this thread to die out. I can tell you how my hubby called the electric dept. Everytime I took the garbage out, it was dark.

How i drove to work, lights went out. How I could not reprogram a device I needed at work. Many other taILS I could tell.
I think we know who we are. We make a difference every day.

Most all the traits in the link refer to starseeds or star children. I totally reject the notion of "indigos", it's new age hooey and has nothing to do with true star children. Many of the things listed in your link under "more adult characteristics" are things the indigo crowd are using to justify truly bad behaviors in kids and young adults or those with severe and clinical emotional problems. Don't confuse that with the true, deep, and spiritual nature of star children (or star seeds).
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14677943

^ THIS - very true.

Indigo is a moot term. Brad and Francie Steiger published a book decades ago about Star Children, very informative read.

Star Children are typically born in years ending with a 6, and fit almost all traits on the SC chart.

Those here condemning are not evolved beings, some are jealous, most just sheeple.

Genuine SC ignore these types and never engage in debate/discussion because they know debating whether or not SC actually exist is pointless and not part of their more important mission.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14728316

Ok, I dont understand something here and you seem like a good person to ask about it. Why do so many people seem to not like the word indigo so much ? It seems a little bit like apples & oranges to me . Isnt it just a word that is used to give refrence to a certain group of people. Is there more to this that maybe you could explain for me ?
 Quoting: YOUCITY23 1554286

I AM a good person . . . :)

It's a trite, silly term that has been adopted and adapted and seems to be most used to sugarcoat serious behavioral problems (especially in kids) and clinical mental illnesses.

Quite simply, the term is used by parents and other enablers who believe calling their child an "indigo" makes them special, rather than admitting their own failures as parents and that their kids have problems.

Disregard the term "indigo" - it has no legitimacy.

Star children are real . . . there is no doubt.

I highly recommend the Steiger book if you can find a copy somewhere.

I'm curious , I'm not positive that I'm a star seed, I do believe I am , do you believe that because I'm entering into debates & little arguments with some of the people posting that I am Probobly not a starseed ? Just wondering.
 Quoting: YOUCITY23 1554286

There is a distinct difference between an outright debate (wherein one tries to convince the "other side" of their viewpoint or position on a subject), and merely making comments or asking questions for enlightenment.

A SC has no need to debate whether or not SC exist.

Whenever I comment on this topic, I make a few remarks, offer some insight or recommend a source of knowledge, but I never debate. For instance, some of the posters here are very hostile to the idea of SC, claiming it is a way for people to feel "special" or that it is nothing but falsehoods and junk. These are the types SC avoid and ignore. You learn that there are people in the world who will never open their minds, have no desire to learn or become enlightened. A SC knows when to interject comments and when to steer clear . . . there are souls out there with open minds and a willingess to learn, although few and far between at this juncture in time. The others, frequently referred to as "sheeple" should be ignored for what they are . . . true SC are extraordinarily empathetic, but that does not mean we tolerate willful ignorance of humans.

I personally don't mind the term "indigo"
I knew I was different from a very early age.
I have always had very high intuition. I have been told by several people that I have a "light" around me.
Now the telepathy part is kicking in. I can control my dreams, and astral travel.
When I was at work, I would have to wear earphones and look at the floor when I was walking through a crowd so as to not "absorb" their emotions...Before I would do this, I would come home just exhausted emotionally. Empathy is very high.

OP, I add also that the term "indigo" is a favorite of psychologist/therapists who are nothing but enablers in order to line their pockets.

The psychiatric community is a thriving, money-making industry and "indigos" are just another goldmine . . . what Tappe, Carroll and Tober promote is sheer garbage, the notion that "indigos" are spiritually mature, that they are old souls, etc. Absolute nonsense. They merely took full advantage of the fact that more and more kids have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, so-called "ADD and ADHD" and so forth.

Parents who fall for the scam believe it is somehow a form of redemption for their troubled, often seriously disturbed kids, but moreover, for themselves.

The psychiatric industry depends on the weak-minded.

I am aware of everything your saying but I still think its just a word used to give reference and it really depends on the person using the word and their intent. You keep mentioning how a true star seed is supposed to act but that just sounds ridiculous to me. Besides , keeping quit just isn't in my nature. Why do you think starseeds are being born here ?

‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond imagination. It is our light more than our darkness which scares us. We ask ourselves – who are we to be brilliant, beautiful, talented, and fabulous. But honestly, who are you to not be so?

You are a child of God, small games do not work in this world. For those around us to feel peace, it is not example to make ourselves small. We were born to express the glory of god that lives in us. It is not in some of us, it is in all of us. While we allow our light to shine, we unconsciously give permission for others to do the same. When we liberate ourselves from our own fears, simply our presence may liberate others.’

Re: LIST of STARSEED~INDIGO TRAITS, I matched w/ 95 percent of traits on this list
PHYSICAL:
* 65% are female: 35% are male * Compelling eyes * Great magnetism and personal charisma * Sensitive to electricity and electromagnetic fields * Lower body temperature than the norm * Chronic sinustis * Extra or transitional vertebra * Hypersensitivity to sound, light, odors * Swollen or painful joints * Pain in the back of the neck * Adversely affected by high humidity * Survived a life-threatening illness * Involved in a severe accident or trauma

The compelling eyes is very true for me. I've gotten so many comments about my eyes throughout my life and recently my parents neighbor across the street really freaked me out one night when I was in her backyard having a couple of drinks when she all of the sudden out of nowhere started staring at me really intensely like she was looking right into my eyes , it lasted for about 30 seconds which seemed like forever. It was a strange evening all around infact , it was two summers ago the night a meteor was seen in 5 diffrent states above the mid west and it descended for about 15 minutes with a firey tail of red, orange, green. I was looking at Venus w/ my friend infront of her house & she came out & asked us what we were doing. She ended up bringing out a star map. This was at 10:30 & the metro started to fall Probobly when we went into the backyard around 10:45. When I told her my name was Abraham she was like wow, my sons middle name is Abraham ! I said really , is his first name Michael ? She goes , oh my god ! How'd you know that ? I said , you just told me . She seemed a little shocked. It was just a guess because my middle name is Michael. What's also weird about that is that she lives on the corner across the street from my parents who also live on the corner so the house next door to them just had their first child and it's a girl who they named Zoe. I only have one sibling and her name is Zoe. I started out talking about eyes and didnt plan on telling this but I decided to because it seems interesting. Brief description of neighbor across the street , very hot single Milf w/ a convertible 911 & Audi r8 , she shot one of her boyfriends in the ass out front of the house infront of my parents ! Then my mom saw the boyfriends climbing through the window in his Hospitol gown ! Now her house is for sale , one of the reasons she told me she's moving out is because the u city police department won't let her have fire arms !

Anybody else notice that we made it past another doom day ?
I'm starting to wonder if events have been taken place
behind the scenes that we arnt aware of. Most of us
here on GLP would be lieing if we said that 2+ years ago
we didn't expect another 9/11 type event to happen between

I don't expect another 9/11 or doom to come, and I don't expect anything special for 2012 in particular.

I come here to make fun of those who are obsessed by doom :)

I think it has nothing to do with awareness, and everything with doom being BS from paranoid schizophrenics :p

The purpose is always apparent in the function and utility of culture; And the utility is to enrich fewer and fewer while placing guardianship in the hands of ill educated brutes that will toe the line rationizing their fitness in their placement.

The ultimate purpose was to create a knot of bureaucracy so tight that people would no longer have the capacity or want to think for themselves. Thus the answer is the bureaucrats and those which fund their interests through lobbies and think tanks.
 Quoting: dion

that is the natural consequence and locally it was effective but globalization within an information era fucked it thus no one possessed foresight, which of course we knew

thus the unnatural knot formed as a consequence of natural unawareness naturally unravels in a manner unimagined

the motive that motivates our elite is the horrifying irrevocable evidence of discovery of our past 5 years that it is no longer safe to die
and
because within their records and ranks no answer exists they believe, indeed hope, the answer lies outside of their ranks within our rank and file
and
because the only way to discover the meaning of death is whilst alive, there is a desire to restrict scale of killing
(sacrifice) because of their fear of killing a person whom possess the awareness they require to match/enhance their science hence resolve their now arisen and arising fear of death

funny huh 1rof1
