Immortal…no. But will he be immortalized? Perhaps the Tupac/Coachella hologram will pave the way for future entertainment. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Dick Clark ring in the new year once again.
You want to take it a step further? I’m not a devout Christian but I’m fairly sure the book of Revelations mentions something about the when the dead will walk the earth leading up to the end-times. Is it possible that could be a reference to a wave of holograms being introduced and integrated into our society? And what if they are able to add artificial intelligence to the mix?

Vampires are not immortal, just extremely long lived. They even age, more slowly than humans.
