[ link to en.wikipedia.org] He died on June 19, 1956 The Obruchev Hills in Antarctica were named by a Soviet expedition in 1956 for Vladimir Obruchev. [ link to antarctica-geography.findthedata.org] Now if you go on Google Earth and go to the location of the Obruchev Hills... 66°34'59.88"S 99°46'0.12"E you will find that the range of hills are at the same location as the supposed 'Hollow Earth Entrances' Thread: Hollow Earth; Antarctic entrance 2 entrances, located at 66°36'12.74"S 99°43'12.35"E 66°33'11.58"S 99°50'24.02"E The Russians named the hills after Vladimir Obruchev, I guess out of respect and the fact the author had died, but is there more to this than meets the eye?
