9 year old Colorado boy says he was suspended for standing up to bully who was attacking him, punched him in face
A 9-year-old Colorado boy claims he was suspended from his elementary school after fighting back against a bully who was beating him.

Nathan Pemberton, a third-grader at West Elementary School in Colorado Springs, was suspended Tuesday following a physical altercation with another student, Fox affiliate KDVR-TV reported.

"One kid kicked me in the back, then punched me in the face. Then I punched him in the face and then I got in trouble," the boy told the station.

...

"The school had told us and told him as well, just walk away. Walk away, find a teacher," Pemberton said. "Well, when those things happened, and he did find a teacher, there was hardly any repercussions."

A school spokesperson told FOX31 Denver in a statement the district has a “no tolerance student discipline policy. If a student is involved in a physical altercation on school property, they are automatically suspended.”

It goes on to say, “District 11 schools employ many anti-bullying teaching techniques … and none of these methods include violence or retaliation.”

This is how it works in the real world too now.

TPTB/Nazites and those that have connections, masons etc can do what ever they want continually and get away with it.

Best to learn the truth of how things work at a young age because this isn't going to change.

This does not surprise me, Americans are being taught that it is better to be a victim than it is to stand up for yourself. If you can brainwash the kids at an early age that they must not stand up to anyone trying to bully them, it will make martial law much easier to accomplish.
I'd like to agree with you, but then we would both be wrong.

This is nonsense. Fighting at school deserves suspention. Who cares that he was suspended. Now he gets a 3 day vacation while all the rumors of what a badass he is at school. When he returns, maybe he can live a life being left alone.

If I was his father, i would have picked him up from school, told the principle "yes, Hes Mine, and I live him and proud he stood up for himself, and expect him to do it again" Then I would take a few days off, go fishin with him, and explain the difference between the honor and integrity he displayed in a tie of duress versus a stupid rule the school has inn place for fighting.

I would also help him learn ways to sulence the bullys quicker and stealthier.

Re: 9 year old Colorado boy says he was suspended for standing up to bully who was attacking him, punched him in face
This is actually very common. My son was sent to an alternative education facility for a month for defending himself in a fight. He's a straight A honors student who had go to a jail-like school with drug dealers and gang bangers.

According to school officials, a student may not strike another student, even if it's in self defense. My question to them was "What should he have done? Curl up in a ball on the ground?" The principal agreed that the policy makes no sense.

Sometimes you cannot walk away and have to fight. I was attacked in elementary school by three other kids..I could not get away, you either fight back or get your ass beat..the boy probably had no choice..It is stupid for him to be punished also. The bullies need to be kicked out of school and sent straight to adult prison.

Yup, happened to two of my kids...I called a meeting with the parents and the school couldn't reach them, one kid (bully) got expelled shortly after that...I told the principal that my kids have every right to defend themselves but he said the school as a zero tolerance for fighting...

Re: 9 year old Colorado boy says he was suspended for standing up to bully who was attacking him, punched him in face
Happened to one of my sons as well back in the 80's. The kids from the low income housing picked on him daily because he had been skipped 2 grades.

One day he took matters into his own hand, in our own yard by picking up a 2x4 and cracking them.

Received a call to the principals office where I was told he would be suspended.
I told her to go to hell as I had been reporting the bullying on a regular basis and she had done nothing to stop it.

I reported her to the school board, she had to rescind the suspension and from that point on, the bullies stopped bullying and I would no longer take calls from the principal.

To this day my son is still terrified of one of those boys who went on to an illustrious career with the HA and is now serving time for murder.

My son became a geek.

Bullying is not cool.

I knew of a really bad bully in elementary school

He ended up in federal prison as an adult for wife beating and child abuse

THe parents of these bullies ; are they intelligent enough to realize this is where many bullies end up as adults

and change their bullies behavior through counseling or other things before it is too late??

This just happened to the 16 year old son of a friend of mine. Straight A kid, got jumped by 3 others because he was seen talking to a girl that one of the bullies was interested in. Three on one fight. Kid was only defending himself and HE got suspended for being "involved in a fight".

was the same thing in my high school....reptilian bullshit 'zero tolerance'...if you dared to fight back, you were suspended equally, even if you were attacked.

You are not allowed to fight in a prison, either. Further proof that our schools are temporary prisons for the slave children while the slaves are off working.

and bet the bully didn't get suspended even though he was attacking the other boy first, right? Not the first time I've heard of things like this happening, its like they're trying to say its all right if you're a big bully that goes around hurting people but don't you dare stick up for yourself. Or is it just teachers playing favorites? This really gets me confused.

Better to be suspended than to end up in the hospital with a concussion, etc...

Turning the other cheek will only get that cheek beaten to a pulp these days...

Teach your children to defend themselves properly. Might save their life one day.
