I practice reiki and have prayed since a child, so if this was evil I would know by now because I talk with the Lord on a regular basis. A lot of the demonic stuff is out of the human mind, but not all of it.

Does that mean that the healer has to BELIEVE the ones in contact indeed belong to the divine spiritual realm? Don't you think trusting in invisible entities is a leap not of faith but being naïve? Haven't you heard many people contacted with ETs have also believed such and have been suffering a lot in their personal lives? Why these entities of good will would damage the lives of healers if they are so good? Do you believe an entity would second intentions COULDN'T DISGUISE HIMSELF INTO A CREATURE OF LIGHT, let's say Saint Germain? I mean, in times of holograms nobody could doubt a powerful creature could transform himself into a beautiful entity dwelling in a violet and golden palace? Is that the reason the people believe?

The healer can suffer energy depletion if they practice too much. there are no demons involved in Reiki at all, its merely the realignment of the energy fields that everyone has and it has nothing to do whatsoever with religion. There are visible and invisible dark energies also that enjoy attacking anyone of the light and will do so. Some reiki masters do not always detect them, and banish them. I have found reiki masters that have no concept of demonic energies, and others who have some idea but have no spiritual know how to banish them.

Even people who are kundalini activated may not know how to sense dark energy and deal with it. These too are attacked. They just stand out like a sore thumb.

there are masters of dark energy out there that have a lot of tricks in their own knowledge to harm those who haven't learned to defend.

Lisa, while I hold much different beliefs than yours, I'd like to offer a little constructive critisism on your testimony video. It really didn't come across as "strong". All I got out of it was that yoga made you feel good and then you got sick so yoga must be demonic. Next time you make a vid, you may want to provide more specifics and details.

I have already answered the question earlier. No entities are summoned in true Reiki. We do however ask for the Divine Energy (pure light) of the Creator to flow threw us. Some people ask for the angels or spirit guides to assist the person with healing. Protection is put in place before one starts a session. I have never experienced anything negative during a session or heard of anything negative afterwards with my clients. Also we do not use our own life force energy to heal, but rather the Universal Energy of Prime Source, which leaves us feeling happy, balanced & whole afterwards.

A lot of the denomic stuff is done by humans. Dwelling on the denomic and trying to see it in things can occupy the mind and make one physically and mentally sick. Religion can also make one mentally sick if all you tend to see is the dark and denomic. Your thoughts create your reality.

Although Reiki claims to be an "ancient healing practice that Buddha (and Jesus) used," all records of it were lost. It was allegedly rediscovered by Mikao Usui, a Zen Buddhist monk, in the mid-1800s "during a psychic experience."

Additionally, it is claimed that details about lost aspects of the practice have "been revealed through channeling." Channeling is the New Age term for mediumship and involves contact with, and usually possession by, "spirit guides."

Really? Am I the negative one? I invite the readers (whether they post or remain mute) to re-read what I posted. During 6 pages people have critized O.P. saying he/she is an idiotic person who is spreading fear out of ignorance and lack of tolerance to other religions. Than a page or two ago I asked: "really, and what do you really know about Reiki, as a matter of fact who knows something to tell us?" and then your provocative reactions toward O.P became like the ones "offended" by me because I say you don't really know and I kept asking 3 or 4 times and the responses make evidence the naïve attitude of believing the healing comes from Almighty or Universe but can't answer my questions in detail! Or even confused the healings perform from one civilization thinking is the same as other or related with the same beings.

Then another one posted verses of the Bible promoting himself/herself as an agent of Christian whichever church and I asked: "really? What do you think you know about Christ transfiguration?" I could've asked him/her about the witch from Endor and Samuel ghost as well but I prefered not, just to dodge a sub-sub-subtopic.

When I refer to evil I am not talking about a child who steals a cookie or someone who curses. I am talking about the evil OP says are "demons" or posession type evils.

When I meditate (& that is my choice) I surround myself with white light and positive energy. I have spoken to many people who also meditate and do this. They are confident, as am I, that being filled with love will not expose us to lower energies, demons, evil in such a situation. I could sure use it now... lol

I think you're sincere in your answer. If that's the case I can't see any damage of what you're doing specially since it comes from good will of the healer and it's proved the brain behaves the same whether it IMAGINES or the eyes really see something (and we know they are linked to the brain). I wonder if this is true in all cases. What about images? I mean, let's suppose you use a mandala, would you use a symbol related to an ancient god who demanded human sacrifices in the past? Perhaps that system is not used in the places you have practiced. I am not the one judging anything. I push people to answer to themselves and to others. I personally don't think you're doing something wrong, but then again, who am I? In this case the fruits speak for themselves. If you say you have not heard anything negative is because your system is working and doing good on behalf of both healers and healed.
