Actually, we should keep a God's view of the world, and whether he knew it or not, Hitchens was espousing God's view in that excellent clip you provided.

He said, my wife doesn't have to work, she can if she wants, but it's my job/priviledge to provide for her... or words to that effect.

He acts more godly than a lot of christian men in this area evidently and I bet he's a very good husband if he was married.
