The Sophia (Wisdom) of Jesus Christ.

After he rose from the dead, his twelve disciples and seven women continued to be his followers, and went to Galilee onto the mountain called "Divination and Joy". When they gathered together and were perplexed about the underlying reality of the universe and the plan, and the holy providence, and the power of the authorities, and about everything the Savior is doing with them in the secret of the holy plan, the Savior appeared - not in his previous form, but in the invisible spirit. And his likeness resembles a great angel of light. But his resemblance I must not describe. No mortal flesh could endure it, but only pure, perfect flesh, like that which he taught us about on the mountain called "Of the Olives" in Galilee.

And he said: "Peace be to you, My peace I give you!" And they all marveled and were afraid. The Savior laughed and said to them: "What are you thinking about? Are you perplexed? What are you searching for?"

Philip said: "For the underlying reality of the universe and the plan."

The Savior said to them: "I want you to know that all men are born on earth from the foundation of the world until now, being dust, while they have inquired about God, who he is and what he is like, have not found him. Now the wisest among them have speculated from the ordering of the world and (its) movement. But their speculation has not reached the truth. For it is said that the ordering is directed in three ways, by all the philosophers, (and) hence they do not agree. For some of them say about the world that it is directed by itself. Others, that it is providence (that directs it). Others, that it is fate. But it is none of these. Again, of the three voices I have just mentioned, none is close to the truth, and (they are) from man. But I, who came from Infinite Light, I am here - for I know him (Light) - that I might speak to you about the precise nature of the truth. For whatever is from itself is a polluted life; it is self-made. Providence has no wisdom in it. And fate does not discern. But to you it is given to know; and whoever is worthy of knowledge will receive (it), whoever has not been begotten by the sowing of unclean rubbing but by First Who Was Sent, for he is an immortal in the midst of mortal men."

Matthew said to him: "Lord, no one can find the truth except through you. Therefore teach us the truth."

The Savior said: "He Who Is is ineffable. No principle knew him, no authority, no subjection, nor any creature from the foundation of the world until now, except he alone, and anyone to whom he wants to make revelation through him who is from First Light. From now on, I am the Great Savior. For he is immortal and eternal. Now he is eternal, having no birth; for everyone who has birth will perish. He is unbegotten, having no beginning; for everyone who has a beginning has an end. Since no one rules over him, he has no name; for whoever has a name is the creation of another."

(BG 84, 13-17 adds: He is unnameable. He has no human form; for whoever has human form is the creation of another).

"And he has a semblance of his own - not like what you have seen and received, but a strange semblance that surpasses all things and is better than the universe. It looks to every side and sees itself from itself. Since it is infinite, he is ever incomprehensible. He is imperishable and has no likeness (to anything). He is unchanging good. He is faultless. He is eternal. He is blessed. While he is not known, he ever knows himself. He is immeasurable. He is untraceable. He is perfect, having no defect. He is imperishability blessed. He is called ´Father of the Universe´".

Philip said: "Lord, how, then, did he appear to the perfect ones?"

The perfect Savior said to him: "Before anything is visible of those that are visible, the majesty and the authority are in him, since he embraces the whole of the totalities, while nothing embraces him. For he is all mind. And he is thought and considering and reflecting and rationality and power. They all are equal powers. They are the sources of the totalities. And their whole race from first to last was in his foreknowledge, (that of) the infinite, unbegotten Father."

Thomas said to him: "Lord, Savior, why did these come to be, and why were these revealed?"

The perfect Savior said: "I came from the Infinite that I might tell you all things. Spirit-Who-Is was the begetter, who had the power <of> a begetter and a form-giver`s nature, that the great wealth that was hidden in him might be revealed. Because of his mercy and his love, he wished to bring forth fruit by himself, that he might not <enjoy> his goodness alone, but (that) other spirits of the Unwavering Generation might bring forth body and fruit, glory and honor, in imperishableness and his infinite grace, that his treasure might be revealed by Self-begotten God, the father of every imperishableness and those that came to be afterward. But they had not yet come to visibility. Now a great difference exists among the imperishables."

He called out, saying: "Whoever has ears to hear about the infinities, let him hear!"; and "I have addressed those who are awake." Still he continued and said: "Everything that came from the perishable will perish, since it came from the perishable. But whatever came from imperishableness does not perish but becomes imperishable. So, many men went astray because they had not known this difference and they died."

Mary said to him: "Lord, then how will we know that?"

The perfect Savior said: "Come (you) from invisible things to the end of those that are visible, and the very emanation of Thought will reveal to you how faith in those things that are not visible was found in those that are visible, those that belong to Unbegotten Father. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear!

"The Lord of the Universe is not called ´Father´, but ´Forefather´, the beginning of those that will appear, but he (the Lord) is the beginningless Forefather. Seeing himself within himself in a mirror, he appeared resembling himself, but his likeness appeared as Divine Self-Father, and <as> Confronter over the Confronted ones, First Existent Unbegotten Father. He is indeed of equal age <with> the Light that is before him, but he is not equal to him in power.

"And afterward was revealed a whole multitude of confronting, self-begotten ones, equal in age and power, being in glory (and) without number, whose race is called ´The Generation over Whom There Is No Kingdom´ from the one in whom you yourselves have appeared from these men. And that whole multitude over which there is no kingdom is called ´Sons of Unbegotten Father, God, Savior, Son of God,´ whose likeness is with you. Now he is the unknowable, who is full of ever-imperishable glory and ineffable joy. They all are at rest in him, ever rejoicing in ineffable joy in his unchanging glory and measureless jubilation; this was never heard or known among all the aeons and their worlds until now."

Matthew said to him: "Lord, Savior, how was Man revealed?"

The perfect Savior said: "I want you to know that he who appeared before the universe in infinity, Self-grown, Self-constructed Father, being full of shining light and ineffable, in the beginning, when he decided to have his likeness become a great power, immediately the principle (or beginning) of that Light appeared as Immortal Androgynous Man, that through that Immortal Androgynous Man they might attain their salvation and awake from forgetfulness through the interpreter who was sent, who is with you until the end of the poverty of the robbers.

"And his consort is the Great Sophia, who from the first was destined in him for union by Self-begotten Father, from Immortal Man, who appeared as First and divinity and kingdom, for the Father, who is called ´Man, Self-Father´, revealed this. And he created a great aeon, whose name is ´Ogdoad´, for his own majesty.

"He was given great authority, and he ruled over the creation of poverty. He created gods and angels, <and> archangels, myriads without number for retinue, from that Light and the tri-male Spirit, which is that of Sophia, his consort. For from this, God originated divinity and kingdom. Therefore he was called ´God of gods´ and ´King of kings´.

"First Man has his unique mind, within, and thought - just as he is it (thought) - (and) considering, reflecting, rationality, power. All the attributes that exist are perfect and immortal. In respect to imperishableness, they are indeed equal. (But) in respect to power, they are different, like the difference between father and son <, and son> and thought, and the thought and the remainder. As I said earlier, among the things that were created, the monad is first.

"And after everything, all that was revealed appeared from his power. And from what was created, all that was fashioned appeared; from what was fashioned appeared what was formed; from what was formed, what was named. Thus came the difference among the unbegotten ones from beginning to end."

Then Bartholomew said to him: "How (is it that) <he> was designated in the Gospel ´Man´ and ´Son of Man´? To which of them, then, is this Son related?"

The Holy One said to him: "I want you to know that First Man is called ´Begetter, Self-perfected Mind´. He reflected with Great Sophia, his consort, and revealed his first-begotten, androgynous son. His male name is designated ´First Begetter, Son of God´, his female name, ´First Begettress Sophia, Mother of the Universe´. Some call her ´Love´. Now First-begotten is called ´Christ´. Since he has authority from his father, he created a multitude of angels without number for retinue from Spirit and Light."

His disciples said to him: "Lord, reveal to us about the one called ´Man´, that we also may know his glory exactly."

The perfect Savior said: "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear. First Begetter Father is called ´Adam, Eye of Light,´ because he came from shining Light, and his holy angels, who are ineffable (and) shadowless, ever rejoice with joy in their reflecting, which they received from their Father. The whole Kingdom of Son of Man, who is called ´Son of God,´ is full of ineffable and shadowless joy, and unchanging jubilation, (they) rejoicing over his imperishable glory, which has never been heard until now, nor has it been revealed in the aeons that came afterward, and their worlds. I came from Self-begotten and First Infinite Light, that I might reveal everything to you."

Again, his disciples said: "Tell us clearly how they came down from the invisibilities, from the immortal to the world that dies?"

The perfect Savior said: "Son of Man consented with Sophia, his consort, and revealed a great androgynous light. His male name is designated ´Savior, Begetter of All Things´. His female name is designated ´All-Begettress Sophia´. Some call her ´Pistis´.

"All who come into the world, like a drop from the Light, are sent by him to the world of Almighty, that they might be guarded by him. And the bond of his forgetfulness bound him by the will of Sophia, that the matter might be <revealed> through it to the whole world in poverty, concerning his (Almighty´s) arrogance and blindness and the ignorance that he was named. But I came from the places above by the will of the great Light, (I) who escaped from that bond; I have cut off the work of the robbers; I have awakened that drop that was sent from Sophia, that it might bear much fruit through me, and be perfected and not again be defective, but be <joined> through me, the Great Savior, that his glory might be revealed, so that Sophia might also be justified in regard to that defect, that her sons might not again become defective but might attain honor and glory and go up to their Father, and know the words of the masculine Light. And you were sent by the Son, who was sent that you might receive Light, and remove yourselves from the forgetfulness of the authorities, and that it might not again come to appearance because of you, namely, the unclean rubbing that is from the fearful fire that came from their fleshly part. Tread upon their malicious intent."

Then Thomas said to him: "Lord, Savior, how many are the aeons of those who surpass the heavens?"

The perfect Savior said: "I praise you (pl.) because you ask about the great aeons, for your roots are in the infinities. Now when those whom I have discussed earlier were revealed, he provided ....

[BG107]: "Now when those whom I have discussed earlier were revealed, Self-begetter Father very soon created twelve aeons for retinue for the twelve angels. All these are perfect and good. Thus the defect in the female appeared."

And <he> said to him: "How many are the aeons of the immortals, starting from the infinities?"

The perfect Savior said: "Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear. The first aeon is that of Son of Man, who is called ´First Begetter´, who is called ´Savior´, who has appeared. The second aeon (is) that of Man, who is called ´Adam, Eye of Light´. That which embraces these is the aeon over which there is no kingdom, (the aeon) of the Eternal Infinite God, the Self-begotten aeon of the aeons that are in it, (the aeon) of the immortals, whom I described earlier, (the aeon) above the Seventh, that appeared from Sophia, which is the first aeon.

"Now Immortal Man revealed aeons and powers and kingdoms, and gave authority to all who appear in him, that they might exercise their desires until the last things that are above chaos. For these consented with each other and revealed every magnificence, even from spirit, multitudinous lights that are glorious and without number. These were called in the beginning, that is, the first aeon and <the second> and <the third>. The first <is> called ´Unity and Rest´. Each one has its (own) name; for the <third> aeon was designated ´Assembly´ from the great multitude that appeared: in one, a multitude revealed themselves. Now because the multitudes gather and come to a unity we call them ´Assembly of the Eighth.´It appeared as androgynous and was name partly as male and partly as female. The male is called ´Assembly´, while the female is called ´Life´, that it might be shown that from a female came the life for all the aeons. And every name was received, starting from the beginning.

"For from his concurrence with his thought, the powers very soon appeared who were called ´gods´; and the gods of the gods from their wisdom revealed gods; <and the gods> from their wisdom revealed lords; and the lords of the lords from their thinkings revealed lords; and the lords from their power revealed archangels; the archangels from their words revealed angels; from them, semblances appeared, with structure and form and name for all the aeons and their worlds.

"And the immortals, whom I have just described, all have authority from Immortal Man, who is called ´Silence´, because by reflecting without speech all her own majesty was perfected. For since the imperishabilities had the authority, each created a great kingdom in the Eighth, (and) also thrones and temples (and) firmaments for their own majesties. For these all came by the will of the Mother of the Universe."

Then the Holy Apostles said to him: "Lord, Savior, tell us about those who are in the aeons, since it is necessary for us to ask about them."

The perfect Savior said: "If you ask about anything, I will tell you. They created hosts of angels, myriads without number, for retinue and their glory. They created virgin spirits, the ineffable and unchangeable lights. For they have no sickness nor weakness, but it is will. [BG 115,14 adds here: And they came to be in an instant.]

"Thus the aeons were completed quickly in the heavens and the firmaments in the glory of Immortal Man and Sophia, his consort: the area from which every aeon and the world and those that came afterward took (their) pattern for their creation of likenesses in the heavens of chaos and their worlds. And all natures, starting from the revelation of chaos, are in the Light that shines without shadow, and joy that cannot be described, and unutterable jubilation. They ever delight themselves on account of their unchanging glory and the immeasurable rest, which cannot be described among all the aeons that came to be afterward, and all their powers. Now all that I have just said to you, I said that you might shine in Light more than these."

Mary said to him: "Holy Lord, where did your disciples come from, and where are they going, and (what) should they do here?"

The Perfect Savior said to them: "I want you to know that Sophia, the Mother of the Universe and the consort, desired by herself to bring these to existence without her male (consort). But by the will of the Father of the Universe, that his unimaginable goodness might be revealed, he created that curtain between the immortals and those that came afterward, that the consequence might follow ... [BG 118:] ... every aeon and chaos - that the defect of the female might <appear>, and it might come about that Error would contend with her. And these became the curtain of spirit. From <the> aeons above the emanations of Light, as I have said already, a drop from Light and Spirit came down to the lower regions of Almighty in chaos, that their molded forms might appear from that drop, for it is a judgment on him, Arch-Begetter, who is called ´Yaldabaoth´. That drop revealed their molded forms through the breath, as a living soul. It was withered and it slumbered in the ignorance of the soul. When it became hot from the breath of the Great Light of the Male, and it took thought, (then) names were received by all who are in the world of chaos, and all things that are in it through that Immortal One, when the breath blew into him. But when this came about by the will of Mother Sophia - so that Immortal Man might piece together the garments there for a judgment on the robbers - <he> then welcomed the blowing of that breath; but since he was soul-like, he was not able to take that power for himself until the number of chaos should be complete, (that is,) when the time determined by the great angel is complete.

"Now I have taught you about Immortal Man and have loosed the bonds of the robbers from him. I have broken the gates of the pitiless ones in their presence. I have humiliated their malicious intent, and they all have been shamed and have risen from their ignorance. Because of this, then, I came here, that they might be joined with that Spirit and Breath, [III continues:] and might from two become one, just as from the first, that you might yield much fruit and go up to Him Who Is from the Beginning, in ineffable joy and glory and honor and grace of the Father of the Universe.

"Whoever, then, knows the Father in pure knowledge will depart to the Father and repose in Unbegotten Father. But whoever knows him defectively will depart to the defect and the rest of the Eighth. Now whoever knows Immortal Spirit of Light in silence, through reflecting and consent in the truth, let him bring me signs of the Invisible One, and he will become a light in the Spirit of Silence. Whoever knows Son of Man in knowledge and love, let him bring me a sign of Son of Man, that he might depart to the dwelling-places with those in the Eighth.

"Behold, I have revealed to you the name of the Perfect One, the whole will of the Mother of the Holy Angels, that the masculine multitude may be completed here, that there might appear in the aeons, the infinities and those that came to be in the untraceable wealth of the Great Invisible Spirit, that they all might take from his goodness, even the wealth of their rest that has no kingdom over it. I came from First Who Was Sent, that I might reveal to you Him Who Is from the Beginning, because of the arrogance of Arch-Begetter and his angels, since they say about themselves that they are gods. And I came to remove them from their blindness, that I might tell everyone about the God who is above the universe. Therefore, tread upon their graves, humiliate their malicious intent, and break their yoke and arouse my own. I have given you authority over all things as Sons of Light, that you might tread upon their power with your feet."

These are the things the blessed Savior said, and he disappeared from them. Then all the disciples were in great, ineffable joy in the spirit from that day on. And his disciples began to preach the Gospel of God, the eternal, imperishable Spirit. Amen.

Male and female is the fullness of the Human One - the perfect and complete Human Being; hence the Androgynous One, self-begetting and self-generating. This is the state of Adam Kadmon, the primordial human being, and it is the state of Adam Ha-Rishon, the first or supernal human being. Likewise, it is the truth of the soul of Light, for at the level of Yechidah, Hayyah and Neshamah we are both male and female, Adam and Eve. Therefore, on the most fundamental level, mystically speaking, the separation of Adam and Eve is the incarnate condition when, like Pistis Sophia, the soul descends to cling to a false light and becomes bound to cosmic ignorance and the cycles of the gilgulim - the transmigration of souls.

According to the Gospel the Savior has entered in order to reintegrate the Nefesh and Ruach to the Neshamah, or the earthly soul to the heavenly soul, and thus to deliver souls from the gilgulim. This the Savior accomplishes by revealing the true nature of the Human One - hence the Christos or Light-presence, which is Logos and Sophia.

In the legends of the Sophian Tradition when the Soul of the Messiah entered into incarnation, the Soul of the Anointed became male and female in descent; hence Christ the Logos and Christ the Sophia. These twin aspects became embodied in Lord Yeshua and Mary Magdalene. At first they are separate and apart from one another, but in the process of the Christ revelation they are joined, and in them the male and female aspects of all of the souls of the perfect ones are also joined. This union of Logos and Sophia, male and female, in one Body of Light is called the Second Adam . . .

One one level Adam represents consciousness experienced internally and Eve represents consciousness experienced externally; hence the soul or mind and the radiant magical-display of the soul or mind. So long as the illusion of a separation between internally appearing phenomenon and externally appearing phenomenon remains, the soul continues in bondage to the potentially endless cycles of transmigration under karmic compulsion.

On another level Adam Represents the Desire to Share and Eve represents the Desire to Receive. When these are divided the Desire to Receive for the Self Alone comes into being, which is the root of all evil and death. United, these become the Desire to Receive for the sake of the Desire to Share, which is the state of a natural flow of Supernal or Divine Grace and the awareness of Sacred Unity indicitive of supernal or Messianic consciousness.

The Perfect Savior, Jesus Christ, would never have spoken such stuff about "Sophia".

The ancient Greeks worshipped a "goddess" whom was called Sophia, a demon.

Webster´s dictionary has the definition for the words sophistry and sophisticated, derived from "Sophia". The word philosophy also derives from Sophia. In a general sense, the words mean adulterated thinking, subtle or fallacious reasoning, which was used in the Garden of Eden to deceive Eve into disobeying God.

When it doesn´t sound like something Jesus would say, running contrary to the Scriptures, He didn´t say it, although the sophomores (morons) of our times would have you believe it.

In parts of the Old Testament it is the *Sophia* that embodies and symbolizes the feminine aspect of God. The Sophia shared in the generative power which created the world. The Sophia "dwelt immanent within the world, and which also dwelt within the human heart..." The Sophia was considered the fount of all human knowledge, whether physical, psychological or spiritual--"knowledge, which she can likewise impart because she is mistress of the soul." [Ibid, p. 22]

The philosophers of the early Church saw Christ as the embodiment of the Sophia as well as the Incarnation of the Logos.

For these early Christian thinkers...it was clear that to say "Christ was the Word was to assign to Christ a profoundly mystical and far-reaching reality. It meant that the utterly transcendent God...created the world through that self-expression termed the Logos, and that this Logos, or Creative Word of God, is immanent within all of the creation." [Ibid, p. 23]

These early Christian philsophers also believed in Christ´s pre-existence. Christ as the Logos or Wisdom of God had to exist from the beginning before incarnation could take place.

Sanford sums it up beautifully: "The world-creating Logos could be seen in the movements of the heavenly bodies, in the majesty of the skies, in the great ocean with its abundance of life, but also could be seen in the tiniest unit of life...But the most important place where the Word of God was to be found for the early Christians was within the soul herself, where it lived as an *imago dei,* like a spring of water from which flowed the knowledge of God."

NAME THEM!!!!!! They were not the apostles, who wrote the four Gospels, and who discipled with Jesus for three years, knowing Him better than any "philospher" who came after them.

What happens when the rather neglected wisdom traditions of the Bible are applied to our understanding of Jesus? Elizabeth A. Johnson, who is Distinguished Professor of Theology at Fordham University, New York City, shows how ´the symbol of Jesus as Wisdom of God lends powerful support to the ongoing struggle to transform the Church into a community of genuine mutuality where women and men are equal in human Christian dignity´.

The early Christian communities were enormously creative in interpreting the meaning and message of Jesus. They experienced that the offer of salvation came to them from God in Jesus through the power of the Spirit. To describe what a blessing he was in their lives, they gave him names and told his story over and over again in a multitude of frameworks. Their exuberant efforts led them to ransack their Jewish religious tradition and, in time, the Hellenistic religious heritage for titles, images and other elements that could be used to interpret his meaning. In the process, they named him the Messiah/Christ; they named him Son of Man, Lord, Lamb of God, Word of God, Son of God. The biblical wisdom tradition was also pressed into service to interpret Jesus of Nazareth. Early Christians connected Jesus with this in general and with its central figure, Hokmah, Sophia, Holy Wisdom herself, a female figure of power and compassion.

What did this mean for Christ and his followers? The biblical picture of Sophia is a composite one, formed of differing presentations in Job and Proverbs (books common to all users of the Bible), and in deuterocanonical books such as Sirach, Baruch and the Wisdom of Solomon. Intertestamental literature such as Enoch also contributes to her depiction. Portrayed as sister, mother, bride, hostess, female beloved, woman prophet, teacher and friend, but above all as divine creating and redeeming Spirit, Sophia´s portrait has its roots in the Great Goddess of the ancient Near Eastern world.

Overall, there is no other personification of such depth and magnitude in the entire scriptures of Israel. Scholarly debate on how to interpret this figure, this icon, abounds, not least because various biblical books depict her in differing ways so that no one interpretation can be applied to every verse where Wisdom appears. Thus the arguments: Wisdom is the personification of cosmic order; no, she learned in Israel´s wisdom schools; no, she is a quasi-independent agent who mediates between heaven and earth; no, she is a personification of God´s very own self — in this sense: the one God is utterly transcendent; yet this same God also approaches the world and dwells within it with intense care for its well-being.

I think most of this alienation of "Christians" from this "Sophia" thing is rooted in the confusion that ensues when trying to conceive of an Hebrew religion, using the language of the dogs, Greek.
Jews invite the Queen of Shabbat into their homes every Friday night.I believe her to by synonymous with Wisdom, though I don´t know how widely held that association may be.
But Jews aren´t Greeks, and from this wholly inappropriate "Jesus" thing, to the "Sophia" thing, true religion does not benefit from Hellenization.

NOW, Mary took her son, when he was forty days of age, up to the temple in Jerusalem, and he was consecrated by the priest. 2 And then she offered purifying sacrifices for herself, according to the custom of the Jews; a lamb and two young turtle doves. 3 A pious Jew named Simeon was in the temple serving God. 4 From early youth he had been looking for Immanuel to come, and he had prayed to God that he might not depart until his eyes had seen Messiah in the flesh. 5 And when he saw the infant Jesus he rejoiced and said, I now am ready to depart in peace, for I have seen the king. 6 And then he took the enfant in his arms and said, Behold, this child will bring a sword upon my people, Israel, and all the world; but he will break the sword and then the nations will learn war no more. 7 The master´s cross I see upon the forehead of this child, and he will conquer by this sign. 8 And in the temple was a widow, four and eighty years of age, and she departed not, but night and day she worshipped God. 9 And when she saw the infant Jesus she exclaimed, Behold Immanuel! CHAPTER 5

Three magian priests honour Jesus. Herod is alarmed. Calls a council of the Jews. Is told that prophets had foretold the coming of a king. Herod resolves to kill the child. Mary and Joseph take Jesus and flee into Egypt.

BEYOND the river Euphrates the magians lived; and they were wise, could read the language of the stars, and they divined that one, a master soul, was born; they saw his star above Jerusalem. 2 And there were three among the magian priests who longed to see the master of the coming age; and they took costly gifts and hastened to the West in search of him, the new-born king, that they might honour him. 3 And one took gold, the symbol of nobility; another myrrh, the symbol of dominion and of power; gum-thus the other took, the symbol of the wisdom of the sage. 4 Now when the magians reached Jerusalem the people were amazed, and wondered who they were and why they came. 5 And when they asked, Where is the child that has been born a king? the very throne of Herod seemed to shake. 6 And Herod sent a courtier forth to bring the magians to his court. 7 And when they came they asked again, Where is the new born king? And then they said, While yet beyond the Euphates we saw his star arise, and we have come to honour him. 8 And Herod blanched with fear. According to your post, the Nag Hammadi speaks to a chosen audience of men who are from a race called a people without a King.

Contrary, the KJV shows God addressing a race of people (Rechabites) and blessing them to not have a King over them. Not for being good, but for being loyal to their father Jonadab (Satan).

The Gnostic Jesus taught non-duality and the path of love as the means of attaining this.

Jesus Christ was a Gnostic. Gnosticism is the path of directly experiencing the Divine as the path to salvation. Mysticism, Gnosticism and the Jewish Kabbalah are all very similar. Their path to God is to look for God within ourselves. If we take the view that God is within everything, that nature and the universe is the very embodiment of God, then our own inner Self is the most accessible point for experiencing an all-pervading Supreme Reality. This Gnostic view is powerfully presented by Jesus in Luke 17:20-21:

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! , lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21, KJV

The word “within” as it appears in the King James Bible has been translated in some modern bibles as “among.” These interpreters believe Jesus intended to say he himself was among them. However, this does not tally with preceding statements in the passage. Jesus says the kingdom of God cannot be observed. Therefore, Jesus could not have been talking about himself. He was observable. Jesus says the kingdom of God is not a place. It is neither “here” nor “there”. Thus Jesus could not have been referring to himself. We must take all physical descriptions of the kingdom, such as streets paved with gold and pearly gates, as metaphors because these things can be “observed.”

God is love and love comes from our own heart further underscoring the truth that we must look within ourselves to find God. If, according to Gnosticism, the kingdom of God is to be found within our own being then who or what is God according to the New Testament? God is love (1 John 4:8 and 4:16). Love is not observable and so love complies with Jesus’ advice that the kingdom of God does not come by observation. Love comes from the great sun of infinite life and bubbles up through the wellspring of our own inner heart. We will never directly experience love anywhere but in our own heart.

In the following scripture we read Jesus speaking of the Spirit of truth as being within us.

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:17, KJV

It is understandable that we would not be able to easily accept the Gnostic idea that God is within us if we have no awareness that we are all connected. However, Bell’s Theorem [link to www.ncsu.edu] in quantum physics clearly demonstrates that we are all connected.

This connection is at the very core of each of us. It is within us. This sustains another concept in Gnosticism and also in other mystical traditions.

Prior to Roman Emperor Constantine’s conversion to Christianity in 323 c.e., the antagonism that existed between the hierarchy of priests an bishops and the followers of Gnosticism is well documented. When Gnostics met for church, they drew lots to see who would assume the various roles. Elaine Pagels writes in her book The Gnostic Gospels:

How did members of this circle of "pneumatics" [the Gnostics] (literally, "those who are spiritual") conduct their meetings? Irenaeus [Bishop of Lyons] tells us that when they met, all the members first participated in drawing lots. Whoever received a certain lot apparently was designated to take the role of priest; another was to offer the sacrament, as bishop; another would read the Scriptures for worship, and others would address the group as a prophet, offering extemporaneous spiritual instruction. The next time the group met, they would throw lots again so that the persons taking each role changed continually.

This practice effectively created a very different structure of authority. At a time when the orthodox Christians increasingly discriminated between clergy and laity, this group of Gnostic Christians demonstrated that, among themselves, they refused to acknowledge such distinction. Instead of ranking their members into superior and inferior “orders” within a hierarchy, they followed the principle of strict equality. All initiates, men and women alike, participated equally in the drawing; anyone might be selected to serve as priest, bishop, or prophet. Furthermore, because they cast lots at each meeting, even the distinctions established by lot could never become permanent “ranks.” Finally – most important – they intended, through this practice, to remove the element of human choice. A twentieth-century observer might assume that the Gnostics left these matters to random chance, but the Gnostics saw it differently. They believed that since God directs everything in the universe, the way the lots fell expressed his choice.

Such practices prompted Tertullian to attack "the behavior of the heretics":

How frivolous, how worldly, how merely human it is, without seriousness, without authority, without discipline, as fits their faith! To begin with, it is uncertain who is a catechumen, and who a believer: they all have access equally, they listen equally, they pray equally, even pagans, if any happen to come. . . . They also share the kiss of peace with all who come, for they do not care how differently they treat topics, if they meet together to storm the citadel of the one only truth. . . . All of them are arrogant . . . all offer you gnosis!

Unfortunately, Constantine sided with the hierarchy of priests and bishops. Now they had the Roman Empire at their disposal and dispatched it to eradicate Gnosticism. When the book burning was ordered, some Gnostic Christians hid existing scriptures in burial urns hoping that God would one day return them to the world. Many of these lost scriptures resurfaced on October 4, 1946, when a sheepherder discovered them. The scrolls were found buried in a three-foot tall clay urn in a cave near Nag Hammadi, Egypt. Since then these scriptures have been called the Nag Hammadi Library and they are now available to anyone who cares to go exploring.

Now as to this sophist and sophisticated lie called gnosis, is it not the same lie that freemasonry thrives on, and other darker groups, there is no duality in YHVH/God, there is no dark side of the "force" and a "good/light" side of the same force, the force is helel(the angel of light dressed up pretty to decieve) and YHVH is One and there is no God beside Him.

Deliberately/ingnorantly, you promote the religion of your companions/captors.

But as the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel has allowed, we are going into captivity soon, and you will be mentally unprepared to face the King of (Mystery) Babylon. Prepare for the deception by reading and understanding the accepted scripture.

You have bought the same lie originally told in the garden of Eden.

How many more will you cause to stumble before this Earth age draws to a close? Will you want the mountains to fall on you someday too?

God´s children are always trying to work their own salvation. Even contrary to the direct evidence before them. The Old Testament is rife with these examples (Jer 2:13). You are like a defiant teenager, who thinks there is a "new way" to live your life.

One such document of the teachings of Jesus, given to his disciples, both male and female, is the Pistis Sophia, mentioned in Key 110:36—

“The Pistis Sophia, conceived in Hebrew thought-patterns rendered into Greek and Coptic is one of the great Gospels, for it is a true witness of the mysteries of the language Jesus used to call down his higher Body of Light in the presence of his initiated disciples. It shows how Jesus is the synthesis of the thirty-two chemical building blocks of intelligence within the Mystery of the Logos seen as the Lak Boymer, the Pillar of Light which calls down the Christ Body through the thirty-third degree to inhabit the Jesus Body.”

This scripture also teaches how the higher wisdom fell into the lower worlds and through repentance and the forgiveness of the Christ could be redeemed and made fit to go back to the higher worlds. “Pistis Sophia” means the Faith of Wisdom, signifying that faith has to have that higher wisdom; it is not sufficient unto itself. Pistis Sophia is portrayed as a feminine entity, and in the teachings the disciples were involved in a dialogue with Jesus the Christ in His Light Body. He very clearly relegates to nothingness all the religious chauvinism of the importance of the male over the female, and the female disciples show that they have the lead in understanding what He is teaching. From the Pistis Sophia commentary by Dr. J.J. Hurtak:

“In order to put the inner and outer together, we must seek as Christ to break the old cycle and acquire the higher Wisdom (Chokmah, Sophia) to discover the I AM THAT I AM of the Father’s Name, the Divine Presence that will receive us as a son or daughter of God regardless of our being born Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, etc. Wisdom in its highest Divine state is the radiant power of God used for the preparation and promotion of creation, so that we may understand and be received into the Family and the nature of the Godhead.

The teaching of the Pistis Sophia was given to open the gates that have been closed and to fuse the Brotherhoods and Sisterhoods of Humanity with the Brotherhoods/Sisterhoods of Light. For this to occur the Christed Overself, the higher body, must dome with the human self so that the higher I AM presence of the Father can conjoin with our I AM consciousness presence, reuniting us into the I AM THAT I AM. Is this not what the Order of Melchizedek and the teachings of the ancient master of Kabbalah are all about?

No matter what the state of the soul and how insignificant it might think its Light powers, if it uses the True Name(s) of God, asking that the Light presence come forth, nothing is too overbearing or impossible for its evolution, growth and resurrection. This is the message of the Faith (Pistis) of Pistis Sophia, who knows that her repentances will be heard by the great Light that comes with the Name of the True God ( Ha Shem) in remaking and redesigning even within the words of darkness.

Now we are shown that a whole new Light cycle will manifest from the Height, namely from the High Command of the Infinite Mind of God, from the Higher Councils of Light. …We are destined to become Eternal. Our physical body will become part of the Eternal Light transforming all the children of Light through the Light Power from above.”
