Water will always seek the lowest path. It has to be going somewhere. My money is the bottom of the vessel is where the leaks are. Melt through sounds so much better than melt down

unfortunately the melt down part already happened, that's where it hits the bottom of the containment... melt-through is admission to the breach of all primary containment.... scary shit... makes the movie china syndrome b grade....

and to think it is still leaking... how the hell are they going to plug it in our life times? hell, i don't care if i go, but for the sake of humanities and all living entities continued existence this needs to be out there... and fixed... thanks to you all for keeping it out there on all the threads.... multiple threads = busy A-B... ;)

LOL...we both know they are both the same. I was referring to the new vernacular that has come about. Melt through sounds more acceptable than meltdown. But they are the same thing.

Good evening RT! On spent fuel, did you know our lovely government made a deal to not only store the fuel used at our reactors, it would store fuel shipped out of the country after it was spent? Nice move eh? And still no good answer on how and where to store it. Criminal!

Busy boy means happy P & L statement (I'm the bean counter of the company)! One of the designs is quite intricate, Japanese in style. A little busy for my taste but it sold for $3850. This is our major profit item...plus it keeps him off the street and out of the bars (like my grandma used to say)
