Officer May be Fired for Protecting Young Man from Police Brutality
The United States’ descent into a hellish police state continues and appears to only get worse as the years go by. The case of Officer Regina Tasca of the Bogota Police Department in New Jersey is a troubling example of just how far gone some law enforcement agencies are today.

In this case, Officer Tasca is being declared “psychologically incompetent” for stepping in to save an emotionally disturbed young man from a brutal beating at the hands of police.

Here at End the Lie I have covered just a few of the troubling things police are able to get away with, such as murdering elderly tourists with pepper spray while they are restrained and brutally beating senior citizens suffering from dementia.

I have also pointed out how when the good police officers out there actually do their job and stand up for justice, they are targeted for harassment or in some cases even thrown in a psychiatric ward.

The things that police officers end up actually getting in trouble for tend to be outright absurd, like mowing the lawn in shorts, yet no one is held responsible for the most egregious violations like those listed above.

Officer Regina Tasca’s ordeal started back in April of last year when she turned on her dashboard camera before attempting to stop two officers from brutally beating a 22-year-old emotionally disturbed man.

It was just a matter of days after Tasca stepped in to defend the helpless man that she was informed she was being suspended without pay. One year later and she is still suspended and awaiting her internal trial. According to WPIX, the Bogota Police Department is looking to see her fired.

The incident occurred when a mother, Tara, called to have her emotionally disturbed son, Kyle, taken to the hospital.

While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, Bogota police responded. Officer Tasca was the only officer on the road – the Bogota PD has a mere 20 officers in total – so she followed protocol and called for backup.

Two officers from the Ridgefield Park police showed up, and that’s when everything went horribly wrong.

Keep in mind, Tasca had just finished being trained to work with emotionally disturbed individuals as part of a state-mandated training program.

This is truly abhorrant....there are so very many GOOD officers that actually do help people. I have been so thankful for the help that I've gotten over the years from cops.

But, now - the psychopaths are giving ALL police a bad rep.....

This can only lead to real trouble for everyone...........................

And we're being destroyed "from within" by being divided by race, religion, sexual preference, the list goes on and on.

This woman is a good cop. I know and worked with a lot of great cops. One, retired, I've know for over 25 years. He was a hero in Viet Nam and on the force here afterward. He's even famous, for his deeds and his career after serving with the police.

And I've been involved in situations ( I'm in the middle of one now) with officers who shouldn't be in positions of authority. Period.

There's good plumbers and bad plumbers. Good attorney's and bad attorney's. We're all human and none of us are perfect. And it's so sad when cops that go beyond the "call of duty" and risk their lives have their reputations destroyed and get disrespected because of the actions of the incompetent few.

It really sucks when the actions of a "bad cop" is brought up here, and I comment about their screw-ups or incompetence and people say nasty crap about me being a "cop hater", like certain ones in particular do.

"Cop hater" is the last thing I am. Couldn't be because of my career, and my friends, who all hate the bad officers more than I do.

I hope this woman officer keeps her job. We need more like her.

No shit. The gang of police thugs almost killed me to protect one of their own which had done wrong. This was a complete gang of police officers, very evil and organized.

No wonder people are shooting first when confronted with ANY police threat.

Re: Officer May be Fired for Protecting Young Man from Police Brutality
There may be "good" cops out there and they may even be in the majority but when the pressure is on by the administration to cover-up an incident they will adhere to their code of silence. So how "good" are they really?

I know of a similar case involving a mentally challenged inmate in which five officers and a Sergeant beat him to the point where they only stopped because they were slipping in his blood. The inmate was also handcuffed and face-down on a cement floor when the beating took place.

The "good" officers stood up to have the six officers charged but one by one they were threatened by the administration who wanted it covered up. All but one officer gave in to the pressures of the code of silence.

The one that remained had a suspicious "accident" two days after he was called into the Captain's office and told to drop it. He had refused and told the Captain that he would quit and would expose it.

The department refused to do an investigation into this officer's death. He died of a closed wound to the temple such as an asp or baton would make.

RIP, brave officer.

Although some cops are better than others there are very few that would do what this woman did. You can bet that no one in her department will stand by her.

So, for me, the only good cops are the ones that will go against the code of silence.

The Other Way:

Transformation Of The Heart

Blow after blow, we rise from the ashes of our never-dying ego. At times, there is an impression that a collapse is imminent, and then it seems that everything is going to be okay. Only through such gradual, step-by-step development do we become aware that we must change.

The internal collapse we don’t wish to experience but are all subject to is necessary solely in order to pull us out of our own swamp, elevate us, and force us to start thinking. As a matter of fact, a consistent painful experience is but a persistent call to change. All trials and tribulations gradually pull a person out of himself, meaning out of his or her ego.

With each new step “out of ourselves” that we take, we process another type of egoism, its greater part. Repeated blows to the ego still don’t let us feel the difference and realize that with each time, our egoism goes through greater transformation and teaches us about who we are. It is extremely diverse and adapts to any situation. It always seeks how to benefit…

There is nothing accidental; nothing happens just “because”. Egoism helps us to evolve, and therefore, we cannot skip the stages of our development until the ego reaches its height and alters, or rather, transforms in order to use its own energy to act altruistically – for the good of all. But before we are conscious and mature enough to realize our altruistic potential, we have to swallow every pill, which is the only way to learn. There is no other option.

Then, when we look back on our painful experiences, we are able to comprehend what was required for the transformation of the heart to occur. And it only be achieved through human connection, merging with the hearts of others.

This was not a case of police brutality... you shouldn't believe everything you read or hear. This has nothing to do with her being a lesbian (this is just what her and her attorney are trying to make you belive so that she can be victimized). She was deemed unfit for duty by a town run psychological evaluation as well as one done by a doctor of her own choosing. The news didn't tell you that did they? They also didn'te tell you about half of the garbage she did in her time on the force (I'm not at liberty to discuss this or else I would go on for DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS). She is unfit to be a police officer and the only reason this is even up for discussing is because she played the "I'm being discriminated against because I'm a gay woman" card. I hope they fire her and require that she pay back the salary she received while she has been suspended this last year.

Actually...she was suspended WITH pay.... many news sites got their information wrong- which I informed them about- which they then corrected...

NJ.com had it correct in one article and then incorrectly stated without in the next... It was then corrected. The NY Daily News incorrectly printed it as without and then corrected it when I contacted them. Both corrected online AND printed corrections. WPIX had it correct from the beginning. ;)
