Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14889879 It looks beautiful to an extent. But after that , you just want to get out of there. I was in Saudi for a year, and all I saw were arches, arches and more arches. Its sickness. Islamic art to me resemebles the repetitive reptillian scales of a python. This> [link to www.google.co.in] Its hypnotic, and the repetetiveness facillitates easy mind control. LOL dont compare the Arabic arts with the persians man the Persians or (islamics) constructed the Taj Mahal so don't go there look at all the palaces in Iran like the "chehel sotoon" for instance its freaking mind blowing |

Some of the architectural work in Iran is beautiful. But here I was referring to the standard interiors of mosques the world over. Its all the same. And oops, you really don't know your facts about the "Taj Mahal". First the Persians didn't construct it. Second its real name is "TEJO MAHALAYA" meaning the great palace of Tejo. Tejo is another name of SHIVA. Tejo Mahal was built by the Jaipuri Maharajahs. Infact if you care to goto Rajasthan, you will see that all the Hindu palaces in Rajasthan resemble or have similariities to the Tejo Mahalaya. Tejo Mahalaya , or the portion you call the Taj today was a Shiva temple. Even today villagers from Rajashtan have an ancient tradition of going to the Tejo Mahalaya to offer Shiv poojas. Shah Jehan, and his Mughal forefathers were raiders, they didnt have the breeding nor education to build something like the Tejo Mahalaya. The Mughals were the kind of peole who murdered thier own fathers. No way they could built it. Go ahead google it and study. I hate it when Muslims cream themselves about the Tejo Mahalay calling it Islamic art . It isnt' Granted Rajasthani art was influeced from Constantinople and Turkey for the most extent. |

It kind of portrays how the pagan architecture and art take the mind to places that are strange and dangerous. Also, the poster was in the Middle East for a year. Were you?
