Don't they teach World History anymore? Not at you, IMAX...I"m just wondering where the poster is getting that there is a distinction between Iran and Persia during the historical time when this building was built. yes its still persia, the name Iran was derived from the famous poet Ferdowsi which Reza Shah decided to call his country IRAN when he got to the throne
