Check RSOE EDIS The RSOE EDIS site is reporting that there were THREE "Events into Space" that occurred at 17:58 (05:58 PM) UTC on Sunday, April 22nd in two states in the U.S. (California and Nevada) and affected the six separate locations of Reno-Sparks area, Carson City, Minden, South Lake Tahoe, Placerville and Truckee. The RSOE EDIS report of the event(s) states that the damage level of the event(s) is unknown and the number of affected people and/or lost humanities (humans) is unknown. [link to hisz.rsoe.hu] WTF??? The government spilled the bags of powdered sulfur all over the highway entrance into Yosemite so further into the Park an official invesigation of the "Event into Space" that affected the Yosemite area could be mounted. At least that's what I am beginning to think about this scenario. This cant possibly be connected but I saw three flashes in the sky a few nights ago, I cant remember which night but I mentioned it somewhere on the "birdie" thread. I am in Straya....I saw it at about 10 pm. |

We've been having booms and metor sightings in this area for the past couple days. I think something major is going down. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14535292 Sulfur is the chemical element with atomic number 16. In the periodic table it is represented by the symbol S. It is an abundant, multivalent non-metal. Under normal conditions, sulfur atoms form cyclic octatomic molecules with chemical formula S8. Elemental sulfur is a bright yellow crystalline solid. They will be stacking bodies like cord-wood. |

The loud explosion rattled homes from central California to Reno, Nevada, and beyond. According to Bill Cooke, head of NASA's Meteoroid Envronment Office, the source of the blast was a meteoroid about the size of a minivan. "Elizabeth Silber at Western University has searched for infrasound signals from the explosion," says Cooke. "Infrasound is very low frequency sound which can travel great distances. There were strong signals at 2 stations, enabling a triangulation of the energy source at 37.6N, 120.5W. This is marked by a yellow flag in the map below." "The energy is estimated at a whopping 3.8 kilotons of TNT (about one fourth the energy of the 'Little Boy' bomb dropped on Hiroshima), so this was a big event," he continues. "I am not saying there was a 3.8 kiloton explosion on the ground in California. I am saying that the meteor possessed this amount of energy before it broke apart in the atmosphere. [The map] shows the location of the atmospheric breakup, not impact with the ground." "The fact that sonic booms were heard indicates that this meteor penetrated very low in atmosphere, which implies a speed less than 15 km/s (33,500 mph). Assuming this value for the speed, I get a mass for the meteor of around 70 metric tons. Hazarding a further guess at the density of 3 grams per cubic centimeter (solid rock), I calculate a size of about 3-4 meters, or about the size of a minivan." "This meteor was probably not a Lyrid; without a trajectory, I cannot rule out a Lyrid origin, but I think it likely that it was a background or sporadic meteor." [link to maps.google.com] Wow, I was on amtrak heading through the Sierra Nevadas on the same day on the way to California. |

abhie User ID: 14957544 India 04/24/2012 04:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This may have nothing to do with the Yosemite incident, but: Sulfur is also used in the whitening of raw sugar. I have an Indian friend who was brought up on a sugar factory. He said that after they had jucied the canes, and crystallized it, the brown sugar was then 'whitened' by the addition of Sulfur. Sugar is toxic. [link to www.sugarindia.com] Sulfur is a common contaminant in foodstuffs. Most processed foods have made chemical additives a significant part of our diet. A simple thumb rule about food additives is to avoid; the sweetening agents Saccharin, Acesulfame-K, Aspartame, Cyclamates; the preservatives, sulfites, sulfur dioxide and sodium bisulfite; besides sodium nitrite, Caffeine, Olestra and artificial coloring. Not only are they among the most questionable additives, but they are used primarily in foods of low nutritional value. And then the two most familiar additives, sugar and salt. They deserve the greatest attention because we consume so much of them. HOW DOES SULPHUR ENTER SUGAR? Sulfur is a contaminant which enters sugar during refining. Most sugar mills go through a process of sulfitation during the refining process, and the exact quantity of carry over of sulfur during the post sulfitation stages is not well known. But sulfur dioxide through bisulfite formation can form additives complexing with the aldehyde and ketonic groups of the hydrolysed sugar moieties. ITRC (Indian Toxicology Research Centre) has been conducting investigations on the toxic effects of sulphur on mice-- this has stimulated discussions on the permissible limits of sulphur in refined sugar. The European Union prescribes a maximum of no more than 20 ppm of sulfur for white sugar. And truly speaking, this cannot be achieved with conventional sulphitation processes of making sugar. WHAT DOES SULPHUR DO? 4 Sulfur in foodstuffs has been shown to be linked to colon rectal cancer. 4 Sulfur is believed to destroy Vitamin A, as it promotes the oxidation of the conjugated double bonds, and is also known to destroy Vitamin B1.. 4 Sulfur and sulfur dioxide are also known to promote allergies and accelerate the onset of allergy attacks. 4 Meta bisulfites are often used as food preservatives, but there are upper limits imposed on their concentration. Also...why no mention of the driver other than he was intoxicated? He must have had extreme exposure to the sulphur when he jumped out of the truck. Did he suffer burns from inhalation? End up in the hospital? Is he ok? Where did he go? |
