California....ALERT!!!!!! Pin!!!! Please explain? In simple terms...... At the moment we have a swarm happening in the caldera, sulfur is naturally found at these areas. When there is activity, sulfur can be released and be smelt in the air.... Before the swarm started, there was an apparent incident on the 23rd April, apparently 600 bags of sulfur had come off the back of a lorry, actually at the Yosemite entrance. Basically, there could be a lot of activity at Long Valley, more than usual. This could lead to sulfur being released and local people smelling it... So, to hide the fact that there may be something going at the Caldera, they decided to drop 600 bags of sulfur off the lorry or make the story up, this is to convince the locals & visitors that the sulfur they are smelling is from the incident and not from the real reason, the activity ongoing in the caldera itself........... Hence, this is all possibly a cover up....
