Here's where you've missed the boat by adopting the idea that sex and the lower chakras are "negative" or bad or evil. Without them you would die. Balance is all that's needed. Feed your whole 360 degrees of awareness. Cutting yourself off from the vital energies that power physical creation leads to sickness and even violence.

That's why religions who just follow the higher vibrations and condemn the lower life energies always become judging and lashing out. The emphasis on just the higher necessitates a balance and it will be involuntary.
