Some statements I think are true:
* porn is addictive, and in extreme cases can have a detrimental effect on ones life
* it can desensitize you to the women in your life. Is this good or bad?
Bad:
- when you have a loving partner
Good:
- when you have a nagging shrew
- when you have no partner
(Counter to feminist propaganda, porn decreases incidence of rape.)
- when women no longer need men because the wellfare state/divorce industry provides for single mommies, I tend to see porn as an equalizer

Statements I think are false:
- porn is degrading to women... that really depends on the porn (to the one mentioning golden showers: I'd bet most golden showers in porn are woman-on-man)
- watching porn leads to watching more extreme porn... I've watched a lot of porn but it never made me crave bestiality or pedo stuff

I think the immediate problem isn't the excessive porn itself. I think the immediate problem if the denial or lack of recognition that excessive porn is a problem. You can't solve a problem if you can't identify the problem. Let's face it, beautiful women doing all sorts of crazy sexual stuff hits the core of most men's primal instincts. Because of this it flies under the radar and hits home undetected for most. then throw in the Internet, which nowadays seems like a giant porn application and bam! Suddenly you unknowingly have a porn problem. And even if your conscience comes to the surface and voices the issues it's quieted down by the subliminal messages all around you 24/7 suggesting it's "ok".

I spend 2 hours in the gym almost everyday. I think I'm addicted to excercise. Or is the dopamine that all that excercise that I'm really addicted to?

It is incredibly sad when your boyfriend who you love can no longer get it up and make love to you because of his porn addiction, even though you are an attractive woman.
