What I hear from a guy I've found reasonable to listen to is that anything sexual makes bonds between two people. The more sexual, and other variables, the stronger the bond. It somehow connects two souls, which makes sense. That's what some people that are extremely in Love say, is that they share a soul. The downside is, I hear, if you get involved with the wrong sorts of people you tend to be haunted by their darker sides. I hear people that have sex with 20 other people 'just because' not only tend to get pregnant, and now there's probably no father that wants to stick around for the long haul since it wasn't marriage, but also they tend to be on the crazy side. With the implication being they did it to themselves by attaching to so many people sexually that probably weren't the best types of people in the first place.
I notice people that look at porn a lot and profess to tend to not be as interested, if at all, with a long term relationship, which is the only relationship that makes sense when you get pregnant, for everyone involved that is. Otherwise you end up ruining all your lives. The kid doesn't have a dad, the mom has to work extra if she doesn't have a degree so she can't raise the child, and the dad probably deep down feels rotten for screwing them all over like that and leaving.

Plus, porn just tends to sex, which eventually will end up in a pregnancy, planned or not, and when it's just for a fling you also are tempted at times to kill the baby before he or she is born. Just google 'abortion' on images.google.com and see what that's like. It's straight out of aschwizt, except gassing people wasn't that gruesome AT ALL.

Now I've been in Love, and am right now, and I've also looked at porn. I feel more in Love with the woman I want to marry when I haven't looked at porn for months, which feels far better than getting off on someone anyway, doesn't strain the relationship, and I tend to think about being a good father a lot more when I haven't looked at porn. It looks like porn degrades the quality of Love in a relationship and degrades how good of a father you think about being. The way I see it is, I owe it to my woman to not strain our relationship, and to be as able to be in Love with her as I can and willing to be as good a father to any children we will probably have as I can. But porn gets in the way of all that, in my experience. And I look at the comments from people that say they look at porn with no regrets, I wouldn't want them for a father and I wouldn't want to marry someone that makes porn and posts it either.

Now, for any given population of porn watchers, your gonna have a baby at some point, and the odds are the baby's life will suck since it was a fling, and the odds are equally good he or she will be murdered in abortion out of convenience. If we profess to be a human peoples instead of barbarians for titilations that's a strong argument against any kind of porn.

There's always someone out there you can marry, and if you refuse to cheat on her or him without looking at porn but rather only at them instead, there's a lot better chance you'll not be at each other's throats and have a happier marriage. It's kind of a leap to go from porn looker to happily married in some cases, but in others it isn't that bad.

You know, if you want to mess up your own life that's one thing, but you really can't get away from damaging other people's lives either. Because you can make a difference in someone's life you don't have the right to trash yourself so someone else, say a child or a significant other, doesn't get nearly the benefit from you as otherwise, and in return you both are turned against each other instead of for each other that much more.

Really if you'd take the time to clean up your life in enough time you'd be over the withdrawal and could find a good relationship that made you feel much better than wacking off ever did, and it would last all the time every time you thought about them in a positive way.

Any addiction is bad for you, because your neglecting important areas of your life so you can get high on something else, porn or alcohol or whatever. Every addiction I can think of makes you more damaging to those around you, or at least not as sharp minded and good to be around as otherwise.

In the 60's they trashed a lot of our parents, and we've all suffered for it. We've had enough of it, we owe it to the next generation to stop taking a crap in our nest, because it's really starting to suck BAD. I remember being a lot happier 14 years ago even, now I can't even watch the stinking TV and feel anything but anger almost. But I think people are starting to turn around, at least the people I see. I think it's on the way up, so let's do our fair share in that movement or you'll be the reason someone has a lousy life and will dislike you for it too.

Great topic. I think this is the reason the world is so fucked up. The government and the media use porn to dumb down the masses and to numb them. That's why no one gives a shit anymore and that's how things have become so out of control.

I think its the ultimate brainwash experiment on the public.
